Try going back to 40 years ago. 350 pounds, 250hp in stock trim. This was the 2.5 2 stroke V6. They can be built up to 350hp with mods and made even lighter than 350 pounds.

It's hard to keep up with Merc now. V8 V10 na V8 force fed. I've been waiting for the 12 to get it's blower for a new 750 HP next. Man that v 10 sounds so nice firing up. Almost, almost as good as a 2.5.

Cat engines were poorly mounted, why tolerate all that movement.

Its mounted properly , the engines are like shock absorbers or else all the stress u see moving the engine would’ve bin on the mounting points of the engine
