Loki was cast out for loving Thor, Thor leaves Asgard and his powers behind to be with Loki, but Loki has lost his memories and control of his life, but he can't help but love Thor. Loki's Earth "boyfriend" is physically and emotionally abusive toward him and Thor can't do much about it because he's a very powerful man. He wants Loki to run away with him but Loki decides he has to hurt Thor in order to save him from the wrath of his boyfriend.
