Sabaton also has an award winning history channel that gives background to over 120 if their songs (not music award, academic, aimed at education of the public) . Sabaton videos are often have dedications and/or messages at the end, perhaps not always but... watching to the very end is frequently well worth it. if possible please do official animated videos or their mini documentaries disguised as music videos if you want to learn and really feel hje message behind the songs. This is honestly one of my favourite songs from them. It is one that can get me going when I need a pick me up. I want to see them play live when they are in my area next.
It's about Manfred von Richthofen, also known as Red Baron - derived from his aristocratic title and the aircraft colour (he was a cavalry man before he became a pilot). Their "Winged Hussars" tells about the Siege of Vienna and the help that came from Polands Winged Hussars. "Christmas Truce" is a waltz about the truce at Christmas in WWI. Both wonderful songs - among a lot of amazing music. You'll find a lot on their channel you'll like. Thanks again 🎶
