For how old this system may be, it very much performed well! Foam didnt smell bad, unlike the Christ Linear Tunnel i visited a while back, everything else was perfect, wax actually took me by surprise, was expecting it to be horrible or weak but it was actually very good.
Unfortunately, the CK45 across from the exit of the tunnel was only for wax polishing and was also out of use due to faults with both side brushes. Little sad as i’ve always wanted to use a CK45 😢

I visited this car wash yesterday, I was surprised at how good it was considering it’s nearly 40 years old!
Unfortunately the CK45 has been removed and the bay demolished, I uploaded photos of it to Flickr
The oldest working car wash in the uk, and still in such an original condition. It is amazing this has survived for so long.
For the record, this location was where JGE California were based and imported and distributed California Rohe systems to the uk, as well as doing system refurbishments, installs and I think servicing. Those days are gone, but this car wash facility still survives at the site.
Excellent job on the video, sir, but next time you go to rare car wash tunnels like these with polyethylene brushes, I would highly suggest that you make the duration of these types of videos longer by the time you do your next inside view. The reason why I say this is because in the beginning of these videos by the time you start recording them is that I want to start off by first seeing all of the brushes turned off, meaning they're not spinning. In fact, for each and every single video of rare car wash tunnels involving polyethylene brushes, I expect to see all of them turned off or not spinning first before you move your car forward a bit and put it in neutral until it comes to the point where the rollers push it forward and the first two polyethylene brushes start to spin. Also, I would like it if you can do an outside view of this car wash, but once again, make the duration last longer right after you start recording the video because I expect to see all polyethylene brushes inside of the tunnel turned off or not spinning to begin with right before the first two brushes start spinning.

Sadly the ck45 has been out of action for some time and that’s not likely to change unfortunately. The roof dryers in the tunnel used to decent too. super cool but also super old system now
