    I was born in Australia in the mid 1980s. I think this video is accurate. Moving to Australia might make sense if you are really interested in the culture, landscape etc. It is becoming a bit harder to find "Australian culture" in the big cities though with globalised mega immigration. If you were moving to Australia for economic reasons, I think there are still opportunities depending on where you are from, although not as great as they were decades ago. Some things like cars, electronics and international travel have become comparatively cheaper, although other things like housing have risen in price far faster than the average income. I'm self employed and work from home, so my cost of living is about 20% of Sydney if I work remotely in Bali or somewhere similar. Sydney is a nice city. I think it depends on the person. If you have money to live somewhere like Manly or near the Opera House, Noosa etc. these are nice parts of Australia. Not everyone might enjoy living in car-dependent sprawl on the edge of a big city and commuting over an hour to work though.

    Excellent advice on many subjects for those that are considering a holiday or even migration to Australia. This young lady is obviously educated and meticulous in her approach to work and life in general. Possibly her greatest attribute after having migrated to a new country is her acceptance of cultural differences and lifestyle changes. But then, it's the new things and differences that makes life so much more interesting.

      It’s a nice country and the prices are high but the prices are okay when we have high wages. It takes a bit of time to get adapt to the new and environment. But overall it’s a nice country. Many people move back to their home country from Australia and they all regretted their decision I would like to say to you that in might take a little to get adapted to the new environment, but when you do, it’s always better and I would also like to stay focused and yeah that’s it

    THE NUMBER 1 THING YOU FORGOT is tell others to remember to use currency conversion when looking for anything to do with money, or job salary American dollars are worth more than Australian dollars and euro pounds are worth different values as well always use currency conversion when making any decision about coming to Australia

    Tell them the reality people in Australia are facing housing crisis, rental crisis , unemployment and hyperinflation.
    Grass always looks greener on the other side but Australia has become too expensive to lige

    • @livingsimplyaustralia
      @livingsimplyaustralia  Před 8 měsíci +14

      My comment is probably going to offend and upset you, but in my case, I've always been able to save each month in Australia, got a good wage, which allowed me to get my property when I was 27 years old, and travel internationally at least once a year. As long as you work, keep on developing yourself and your skills, and don't live beyond your means (this is essential), being able to have a good quality of life is not hard (I don't have a fancy car, don't buy useless things I don't need, and live in the outer suburbs - I don't live in an inner city house that I can't afford). And this is the reality for all my friends and acquaintances as well - we all have a very good quality of life. But as I always say: everyone has their own experiences and different realities. Cheers.
      PS: Australia is not perfect, but it's way better than most countries today - and it doesn't have hyperinflation (it's currently between 4-5%), not sure where you got your information about hyperinflation from.

      Australia is like every other county in the World. They are all experiencing various degrees of higher mortgage interest rates, housing affordability, rental crisis, unemployment and inflation. A gotta say I don't know of anyone that has left Australia migrating to another country because of higher mortgage interest rates, housing affordability, rental crisis, unemployment and inflation.
