Stop in a store where you can uncap the lipstick and look at the shade. I did just that Sunday afternoon and was surprised by the brown--rust--orange in it. Can't wear those tones with my light, ruddy complexion.

I know what you mean but bear in mind it is impossible to duplicate what the human eye sees. Between the device used in recording and the device you viewing this video on, there will be variations to the lipsticks' tonality. The reason why I must judge the actual product in person and not even through its packaging.

Clay Crush, Nude Nuance and Touch of Spice catch my eye. Shades too light look chalky and the vivid or dark hues are out of the question totally. Too extreme for my particular tastes and overall look. Just to be clear, I'm not judging anyone else's choices or preferences.

@@aaship2106 ....How Clay Crush looks depends on one's skin tone and the lips' natural coloring. I stopped in a store a few hours before posting this comment and judged the color for myself. For my pale complexion it's not only too dark but also in brown-rust-orange tones that will badly clash with the pink in my cheeks. My point is that no camera can duplicate what eye can see, color-wise. However, video makeup swatches can serve to narrow down overwhelmingly numerous choices.

Over the pigmentation of my lips, and against the yellow in my skin, Touch of Spice looks like a deep, dusty rose with burgundy-purple undertones. I can't see any brown in it.
