I lost my grandfather last year too, every time I hear this song I’m crying. You can hear sadness in his voice, but this song is really good, it is a amazing memory of all people that we lost. Even if I’m sad when I listen to this, I have great memories with my grandpa in front of my eyes. And that’s what we need to remember. This song tells us to remember about them. This is a total coincidence that Tyler’s grandfather passed away in the same time mine did, but I’m thankful that this song got me out of post-lost depression. That’s what I think about this song. It’s breathtaking and beautiful. When I want to think about my grandpa I always play „Legend”.

I lost my gramma to Alzhiemers in 2013, and my middle name is her first name. I still can't listen without tearing up.

Now, as of late 2019 my family discovered that my grandfather has been diagnosed with terminal brain cancer and this song means the world to me. Knowing that he does not have much time left just makes me anguished and deeply sad. I will enjoy every moment I have with him like it’s the last one until it will one day, eventually, be.
I think of my grandfather every time I hear this song. I dont remember when you passed, vet. But you served our country in WWII. I look forward to having a lunch with you again. Over 90 years old, you lived a good life.

I looked for this because my mom just passed away two days ago. And she also taught me to fight until the end. She was 81 years old and the day she died with a broken leg and bedridden for a month we were planning how she can walk again. I never gave up on her and she never gave up either. I can’t wait to have lunch with her again….
