Thank you for the tip. However, the obstacle avoider isn't the main problem (though it doesn't appear to function correctly) but the bigger worry is the wandering drone that has a mind of its own! :)
bro I think you should replace the propeller and recalibrate the drone again if it works, and if not, maybe try switch the gps to optical flow mode if it flies stable
Thank you brother - really appreciate the advice. Can't risk switching off the GPS in case it decides to fly off on its own which it has done on a couple of occasions already....lucky (and was luck more than skill!!) managed to bring it down and grab it by hand. I've had the drone for less than a month and has been like this since I got it out of the box....one of the batteries supplied also doesn't latch so can't even use it for fear of it falling out mid flight! Have contacted banggood.com (where I purchased it from) and they've been as helpful as a chocolate teapot despite offering a quality guarantee....making excuse after excuse and even suggesting I get it repaired myself and then giving them the invoice to see if maybe they will pay for the repair.... Thank you once again and will be sure to keep everyone posted!
Hi @gotzolones - yes, I fully calibrate before every take off (3-4 spins horizontally followed by 3-4 spins vertically until you hear the beep sound). I also wait until there is a minimum of 8-10 satellites so GPS (should be) fully locked. The drift on this is terrible and shouldn’t be this way at all.
Clean the optical flow sensor on the bottom of the drone and disable Obstacle avoidance. The Obstacle avoidance of those cheap drones is terrible. Do NOT use it. Ever.
The obstacle avoidance is a problem
Remove the obstacle avoidance
I have L600 pro max its very stable to flight use mode1
If you use the obstacle avoidance try to put the controller in mode 2..

So weird question can i swap my l600 pros camra and gimbal module with the l600 pro maxes?
My l600 pro was stable it can hover how did that not...

But i don't recommend the optical flow for long range flight, its just a guess if the gps is the main problem or the chip board inside of the drone

You have calibrated the LYZRC L600 PRO Max drone..?

O meu L600 pro Max está fazendo isso também, estou com medo até de subir ele mais alto e ele dar uma de voar sozinho.
