Great video, well explained. Thank you so much. I was diagnosed with vestibular paroxysmia, vestibular migraines, PPPD and post-concussion syndrome, so it's been quite a journey!

I am certain I have PPPD but my neurologist feels that is just a marketi8ng term for what he has diagnosed me with, disequilibrium. I now think I get visual vertigo and vestibular migraines. I did not know what those were. Thank you!

VM is really common, and so is PPPD! It's absolutely not a marketing plan!

@TheVertigo Doctor What about computer screens?? I have been diagnosed with vest migraine but I am not actually convinced that is what it is. My symptoms really don’t line up
    That well
And the “attacks “ can last weeks! I had complex BPPV and PPPD and they say Vest migraine. I found some good information and support on The Steady Coach, but I feel stuck with screen trouble. It doesn’t seem like visual vertigo per se you described it. It’s like my brain is meting down and sometimes I start to have “snow” visual disturbance and my head feels like I’m having a mild electric fuzz. But generally I don’t let it get that far before I’m literally running away; turning off my WiFi and all my devices! I have a good vtherapist although he doesn’t have any real answers for this. I’ve made the rounds of specialists too but feel like right now I’m just dealing with a slapped on diagnosis. Any thought?

thank you for all these videos. I’m learning a lot. I’ve had VV, VM and PPPD for years. Sometimes when I lay down to go to sleep it feels like my bed wiggles. I don’t feel that I am moving just my bed. Is this my brain making me feel this?

Seems like the vertigo doctor says pppd is always caused by an underlying condition . So you must had some brain surgery , or vestibular issue in the past ..
