Jujutsu Kaisen was actually one of the top selling mangas by series in Japan last year, it was top 5 if I'm not wrong. It hasn't been around for too long but its really popping off. The manga is great imo.

The only ones I remember is God of High school Jin Mori , and Iruma from Welcome to Demon School Iruma kun anyone else I either forgot or never got around to seeing the anime. And at least Seven Deadly Sin as a Netflix is the only anime there memorable

The anime had some issues, but no more than YYH. I think it mostly gets some flak because it was a shounen that intentionally had romance elements on the forefront. Overall though, Inuyasha was more relevant than YYH and pulled in more money though. Inuyasha's manga went on for 12 years compared to YYH's 4, 4 movies to YYH's 1.5, and a sequel.
@@wolfman6696 it technically isn't a shonen since it was mainly written for girls..but attracted male fans too. The works by CLAMP are very similar.. where they attract both sexes to their stories even thro some are quite violent.

Anyways, Tanjiro doesn't actually use water, none of the Demon Slayer Corp uses the element that their abilities are based off of, it's just a style of fighting and the animation studio drew in the element there for people to understand without characters having to spend like 20 minutes explaining how each style works
For instance:
Tanjiro's Water Breathing taught him how to be graceful and versatile just like the very waves of the ocean, but be as fierce as a torrent
Zenitsu's Thunder Breathing taught him to use quick and strong attacks
Inosuke's Beast Breathing taught him to use his weapons and body like the claws and fangs of a beast and fight just as wild and dirty as those beasts
