The Arches Omnibus: Building an arches diorama in OO gauge with laser cut kits

Welcome to 2024 and to a new series, The Arches Omnibus.
In this series I am going to be attempting to build a OO Gauge diorama of some railway arches and a basic yard and in episode 1 I get started with the arches themselves and planning things out.

This is a great idea....love the idea of a street scene with just a diorama of the arches and a train track above. How is the finish of the bricks? Deep enough to paint brick red and add a white wash for the mortar before wiping away?

They should be deep enough for a mortar wash. I may do this with a panel line wash to maximise the capillary effect, but we will see in due course. Thanks for the comment :)
