MMR system is introduced for the game to be playable for everyone, across all skill brackets. A guardian player who open the game to enjoy some time off and shrug real life responsibilities wont appreciate smurfs stomping his games, for whatever reason. No, smurfing is not ok. Valve banned this for a reason.

fyi, icefrog is the creator of the original dota, defense of the ancients(mod from blizzard's frozen throne) then blizzard didn't want to make dota2 with him and give him money since he used blizzard characters from warcraft, and blizzard wanted all the money so they made HOTS, so icefrog went to gaben and gaben wanted money from people like me, so they made dota2. so in a way, LOL, dota, hots and dota2 should thank icefrog for his awesome idea.
I've see a lot of people doing that annoying fountain farming lately, which prolongs the game when we know we already lost. Funny thing is the enemy team wastes time fountain farming instead of finishing. In a split second the abused team wipes them out cause they got to cocky and didn't finish; and even win the game. Feels good when that happens.
