What i love about this mod is how seamlessly it fits into the main story. Chef's kiss. Unironically the best Enclave themed mod we've ever gotten, and certainly one of the best Fallout 4 mods period.
i just realized them playing through this mod mean´s at some point Zach has to deal with Father, that will be interesting.
I've never played fallout 4 and i've seriously been believing that this was part of the next gen update the whole time
This in combination with all the other story altering mods with the Storywealth mod collection truly make Fallout 4 like easily one of the best RPG games in the past decade
That's one of the big Things about this Mod, it fits in perfectly without introducing too much that might just conflict with the current Lore about the Enclave.
Hell, you even need to sometimes advance the current Story in FO4 to even get more from the Mod because it makes more sense for them to only start up their War Machines once the Brotherhood arrives with the Prydwen after dealing with Kellog in Fort Hagen because... well-- the eventuality of them finding em' is high with the recently reactivated Radio Signal.
And also: all if not every Location created by the Mod is based on pre-existing Locations that we know the Enclave would use, like another Oil Rig or maybe even a Depot like Navarro.
Hell, even the Music on the Oil Rig is based on the Music played during FO2 in the Enclave Poseidon Oil Rig, it even has some neat musical References to the "Followers Credo".

I like Evil Zach so far, he feels like if OG Zach, a kind, gentler Zach (w/ the power sweater) and 1/5 of Park Ranger Zach were put in a blender

And I'm loving Zach's commitment to his character.

it's weird how everyone you find dead in fallout 3/4 is either a skeleton or a corpse, or rarely, just a skull. i'd expect far less articulated remains after 200 years. I get that everyone on this oil rig died recently in the past few years, but considering the implication they were eaten by ghouls, I'd expect more piles of scattered bones and less intact skeletons. It's probably just down to limiting physics props in scenes and that skeletons and corpses are easier to pose for storytelling/world building purposes.
There are piles of bones/viscera in most super mutant camps.
Well-- yeah, thats kinda a Limitation of both the Engline and the Complexity of the Corpses/Skeletons.
But hey, it ain't ruining anyones Immersion because... well-- it's not really important, it's just Decor for the World.
who said they were eaten by ghouls? feral ghouls aren't necessarily cannibals, though they CAN be. ferals are just ghouls who have had radiation melt their brains to the point that they become like animals. some just kill like an animal would do to defend its territory.
Remember the Skyrim bones physics? I mean, I agree they could've put a little bit more effort into corpse diversity but I can see why they might've decided against loose piles of bones with their own physics since last time they just constantly spazzed out and hit players.
It's particularly weird, because there *is* "fresh" skeleton assets: The bloody bones in super mutant camps, and there's a shed with a feral ghoul eating a seemingly unique meat-smeared skeleton.

The Colonel does have a pleasant voice. Weird to see an Enclave officer be a real character after 3, though.

I love seeing Zach test the waters on actually using vats since in the past he said he didn't like the flow of combat it introduced
It's rather understandable for Zach to be crushing on Colonel Whitehill. She has a velvety voice and is fairly good looking.
This Enclave Mike would probably make even legion Mike shudder uncomfortably with how much he delighted in purging the ghouls.
Don't forget Whitehill is also a lady who is high ranking and exudes authority and is mature and cool headed. Basically in this timeline she is the Overseer Mcnamara for this Zach.

when you get to the mission you can find a enclave officer uniform in the factory, in the weapons production wing its up on top of the pipes in a box, it will be there till you collect it so don't worry about missing out on it. also in the Ceneters office there's a magazine that gives you enclave buildables, like radios and birdicides
dont forget the jellybean storage in the stalk of the riffle
America Rising 2 is the best Fallout 4 quest mod imo. I love getting a more interesting, in-depth look at the Enclave.

Vault Dweller Zach: “Loves” America, is terrified of everything post war, thinks the Enclave and military are the best.

How many oil rigs does the Enclave *have*?
Because this clearly isn't the one from Fallout 2, given that
a) It still stands
b) Referencing Raven Rock, which happened after the oil rig from 2 was destroyed
c) They're able to reach it within 3 hours from Boston. In a helicopter that is... questionably airworthy.
Oil rigs are good places to hide out. They get very little attention from outside observers, meaning that you can do a lot under people's noses. They're also incredibly durable and often rather self-sufficient.
@WhiteManOnCampus And of course, what is more American than digging for oil? So it's appropriate for the Enclave in that respect, as well.
It is a different oil rig. In the atlantic ocean, rather than the pacific ocean oil rig of fallout 2. thus making this the second oil rig we know the enclave has operated from.

I'm really interested to see where this journey takes us.
Is this actually gonna be a well written mod, giving insight to how the Enclave sees the world and in what direction should be directed to.
Or is it just going to be the Enclave that was established in Fallout 3.

As someone who's played through America Rising 2 i can tell you for certain that while the Enclave is portrayed as evil they are not portrayed as "unreasonably evil" and there's certain parts of the mod where you can alter the behavior of the Enclave if you so choose to do so. Don't expect a quest where you reform the Enclave or anything like that but the mod does give you options to make the less evil. The mod turns the Enclave basically into a more militaristic Institute just without the synths thing and understandable goals and a plotline that makes sense
They are less evil than in Fallout 2, if that helps. Kinda depends on your character. It's a great mod.
As somebody who's played the Mod, this Campaign-long Mod respects the Enclave Faction a lot.
Hell, you even get a Conflict similar to Eden vs. Colonel Autumn between two high ranking Enclave Personal... and it is an integral Part of the entire Mod!
Without Spoliers, this Decision of your suddenly swept in will define the Enclave that will be located in the Commonwealth and how they'll deal with Wastelanders.
I mean…the enclave have been comically evil since fallout 2, their whole shtick was that they thought everyone that wasn’t enclave was an impure mutant and wanted to kill literally everyone else on the planet.
To be fair, that's also how they were in Fallout 2. New Vegas is the only outing to try and make them something other than comically hollow monsters that want to burn the ashes of a burnt-down world.
Still better than the Institute, or Vault-Tec, for what little that's worth.
