Very crispy crunchy under foot making a silent walk impossible. Great effort on getting a nice eating Stag. Pity it was a bit mangled, but that’s hunting, as they say. Now just a whittle bit of advice for those who don’t have their eating utensils. Just fashion an eating device, out of a thin tree branch with the hunting knife. 😜
awesome vid mate, great to see the footage of you out there camping, cookin a feed etc, crack up on the tent pegs for use of cutlery, but what ever works ha, hard luck on that first one, wind direction changing at the wrong time, good stuff on the young stag at the end.
shame how he wasted all the neck and rib meat, the rest of the carcass would have still attracted the pigs, but he could have had more prime meat for the freezer. Plus, encouraging pigs to eat lost of rotten meat ruins their eating quality often, so why do that?
Personally not keen on the rib meat and my pack was full to the brim without adding neck meat to that as well. Each to their own I guess ay rather take what I can carry and leave a bit of neck meat rather than see the deer population poisoned by d.o.c. .. each one a hunter can take and get a bit of meat off without poison having been dropped is never a waste in my opinion but that's just my thoughts everyone is open to their own opinion on the subject.. and the pig situation havnt had a bad eating pig doin what we do yet but maybe we've just been lucky time will tell I guess.. thanks for your comment 👍
@@kiwiadventuretime2047 ok fair enough mate, wasn't accusatory was more just wondering, better most than nothing. and on the pig thing I've just heard that they can taste different after eating lots of meat, but that might be extreme situations. Otherwise really good hunting, keep up the work.
@@nareshclark8916 cheers mate no worries for the comments man just thought I'd explain the situation a bit better in reply to your first one.. I appreciate all and any feed back mate thanks for the comment.
