my laptop keeps pressing the left button for the past few days, making me frustrated. thank u so much. you are a lifesaver!
If you install the software shown in this video it will disable the key but if you have to type that character you have to re-enable it and the problem reoccurs again. so what worked for me is first hit the (Shift+Alt) key to disable the typing process and click the key at least 100 times which causing a problem (the key which types automatically it might be A,b,c...z or any key) because it might be touching the circuit board because of sand or another thing like the ant which causes the electric circuit complete and key types automatically. So, try it and let me know if it works for you.

thanks man! I was about to smash my keeb yesterday. Though the simple disable key was detected by my AV as trojan and malware so wasn't able to DL it. Keytweak however was fine. Successfully disabled and remapped the keys.

Damn dude... my tab button was spamming non stop on my laptop keyboard. Really got annoyed because i assumed that someone had hacked the system. Now since the tab button got disabled, everytime i ON the system, directly f12 will get clicked and windows diagnostic tool will start. Atleast disabling it, helped me in windows, Thanks for for info!! Really Helped me out!!
Update: The Next Day.
The tab was not giving me any issues, but other keys were not working because of fixing this tab issue. Many keys gave a crazy delay while responding in a very awkward way. I immediately uninstalled the application asap, becoz atleast now i understood that is application is useless.
I think i will just pop out the tab button with some pry tool, and check if it ever spams again

@@johnroedbacting6620 Just try to pop the cap without breaking it. They are extremely delicate. I had used a pry tool ie a small minus screwdriver to dislodge and then reattach it. After that it started working properly.
If that doesn't fix it, then yeah, you need to take it to a repair shop and get the keyboard replaced.
I think its been about 6 to 8 months since i have stopped using my keyboard since its thin film snapped while it had fallen. Been using a mech ever since.

it works, take care to check ALL autotyping keys in aplication which check problematic keys (in my case keyboardtest). Then disable them in keytweak. In my case problems reapeared when i remapped keys.
A question. If I lock any particular key for my laptop. Will I be able to use the same key with external keyboard
i was chilling on my desk, watching anime, suddenly webpages started going backwards.
i thought, "ok this might be auto key struck issue, once again if i press the back space, up or down arrow key it will be ok" ( usually i have it while playing games)
then after that i opened the windows explorer, boom!
it started to flicker back and forth, felt like it got possessed, what ever things i tried to type on were automatically get deleted.
even in browser i was not able to type a web address.
i saw this video on my mobile and worried how i am supposed to open up the web, since everything i type was getting deleted.
i took a deep breath and restarted computer. no use
shutdown removed and placed battery back. no use.
then finally i lost control and thought time to delete windows 10 from my computer and thought of installing linux.
then noticed a bluetooth keyboard facing down on my desk.
Kinda same here but there wasn't any bluetooth keyboard
I scaned for viruses using MB and WD but still none found
But this stopped automatically...
But soon,
While watching a movie on VLC,
CTRL/SHIFT are getting pressed automatically, the movie goes backs to starts for no reason :-(
EDIT:-
I UNINSTALLED THE KEYBOARD DRIVERS COMPLETELY, And I'm using an external keyboard now, everything is back to normal :-)

What i did is pretty much unorthodox but it worked,I disabled keyboard by using one of the videos "how to disable keyboard"by installing wrong drivers,then I deleted that wrong driver and restarted my laptop so that the old drivers go to their place amd now it's fine😄

My keyboard randomly typed, “he didn’t get shot in the head” and it’s very creepy I don’t know what to do? Have I been hacked? Is it some type of malware or I don’t understand and it types the same phrase this has happened twice now without me touching my keyboard
you've probably been hacked. install malwarebytes or any type of antivirus that is trusted. if it can't find any malware, i recommend factory resetting your pc after backing up your files.

I can't install KeyTweak because when it asks the installation directory, it thinks aaaaaaa is autopressed and it overwrites the default directory.

When I try to disable the "/" key on the simple disable key, it gives ne an error saying " Path cannot be the empty string or all whitespace" I have absolutely no idea what that means

I have a problem where my laptop keyboard's "k" key stopped working, and when I press the "w", "e", "r", "l", and "Tab", the "k" key will also show up and continuosly will be pressed, for example "wkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkk". Until I press another key, the "k" just keeps going. What do I do?

I'm late but I also had that problem. I turned it off and on over and over again til it just suddenly disappeared. I opened up keytweak and disabled the right arrow key and now it just works fine. You wouldnt be able to use the arrow key though.
How are you supposed to search and download when the key is stuck.. any search bar anything you go on goes to that letter so you can't type in to find this program
