It seems like what Carl feared it would be? The description really makes it sound like it's an isolated experience that only provides a benefit of being better at 3 new careers. I am not really sold from the description, but I was hoping this pack would be more connected. I wonder if there are scholarships, loans, etc. that Sims can get to attend University, and what would happen if a Sim couldn't go.
We will get two universities the size of Magnolia Promenade with ugly builds that have two pieces of furniture, and small windows on the tallest wall height and are not functional (i.e. they don't have toilets, they don't have doors.) The game play will have no replay value and we will get no content for children or toddlers. Those are my pessimistic predictions.

Kirstin Burke A few days after your teenage sims ages into a young adult you will get a notification that there will be a graduation ceremony at the Highschool. TS3 didn’t really make graduation into a huge event, so that notification could be easy to miss. But usually your sim (the one graduating at least) will try to automatically leave to go to the ceremony

The only two careers I've been begging for are lawyers and teaching, so assuming this is real I'll finally get them.
@Nic. John the sad part is , they probably won’t implement a court room feature, because it would be totally cool and possible if you could take court cases, max your law skill, defend the convicted or victim (having to gather evidence before, of course) resulting in a win or fail, it would work so well with the get to work detective career, but since it’s not base game it won’t happen.
It’s bullshit because all their expansions/ game packs HAVE to be compatible with base game, and because base game pretty much had NOTHING, it’s almost impossible to add all these kind of features, they would make so much more money if they made packs where you’d have to have GTW etc installed for it to be compatible, it would make players buy both packs. They can add so many features into a new pack if it was playable with other DLC’s 😭

It sounds like you can go to all your classes with your sim, so that’s cool. And bringing back secret societies from sims2! I hope they do it right. I’ll still wait to watch youtubers play it first before I buy but I’m feeling more hopeful now that they have fixed their mistakes they made with Island Living and Realm of Magic and have stepped up their game.

K-pop Junk it’s not confirmed but the amount of leaks definitely suggests that because there were a lot of leaks for island living that turned out to be true
K-pop Junk in the past all leaks from official sources have been true. This isn’t like a bunch of people jumping to conclusions because of a silly game detail or a poster in game making them think a farming pack is confirmed. Also, saying I think it looks cool and hoping they execute it well doesn’t mean I should “chill out”. I hope that way for all the packs. I just don’t want to waste money if they don’t do a good job with it.

Its real because the Sims Announced it with a in game leak for the October update, We have included two new Robotic Costumes for your sim to wear, plus I think the multi platform stairs released earlier was a building too leak that they needed for the University dorms and unique College buildings, and they just released the customized stairs to us just for kicks and giggles.
Edit: Also remember the PC release is a month before console now.

Britechester must be a new world we will get to go to, when we go to college, like with the Sims 2 and 3, I was hoping they would do this! And it mentions a secret society too, which sounds interesting! And it sounds like we are finally going to get to have our Sims become teachers and possible lawyers too, it's about time for both, but especially teacher!
So we may have bikes at least, even though we have no cars, I guess they are really trying to keep The Sims 4 green or environmentally safe, no cars for them to drive, though there are cars passing them by places, so some unknown Sims have cars apparently, lol!
I think it's safe to say this is real, there is way too much info, like the mention of the name of world where the university is, the bikes, the idea that we can take classes on villainy, lol! Though I hope they have the date wrong, because I was hoping for it to come in November, but seeing as this is on XBox, isn't possible that this listing is for the console version? and that they are releasing it in December?
Well hopefully they will announce the expansion pack this coming week, so we will finally know for sure when it will be out, so we can all plan for its arrival! With a name like Britechester, sounds like they are going for a more UK style university experience this time, including no mentions at all about Greek Houses or fraternities. Some people might get upset with a lack of those, but I guess if they do the secret society well then people can enjoy that in its place.

Blind squirrel is a company that participated in the making of the Xcom series (amazing games) so having them potentially working on the sims is good news in my opinion

hi guys i have sims on console and with curiousity i looked up sims 4 discover university and it did pop up !!!! so i agree with pixelate 100% this is a for sure thing

Kinda sad it only effects three careers, like what if you want your sim to go to uni for something other than those careers, it feels kinda limiting which sucks cause everything else about the pack sounds amazing

@muffinwar Me too. The way the sentence is structured in the description makes it come across as those are the only 3 majors but you can take classes on art history and villany?? I'm a history major and I would love to have my Sim major in something similar. If they DID mean that those are just new editions, the description should have been worded better.

classes :2 different institutes, Foxbury and something i couldnt read ending in "echester" so maybe based off of englands universities?? and britechester might have a university named after it. mentions living in dorms or in your own house.
art, biology, computer science, something and VILLAINY (yes!)

it seems okay, but its already lacking a lot compared to sims 3, and i didnt care for sims 3 university either. but the whole "bike to explore BriteChester" sounds cool, maybe more of an open world concept will come with this world? idk, doesnt really matter people are gonna eat this up just like every other pack lol.
