    I can't remember what I'm running in my 660 but the clutch set up uses stainless steel ball bearings and the bearings run on a ramp inside the clutch hub and it seams to work really well

    Awesome stuff. Great channel. What about a clutch lockup in combination with an override transmission? Pros and cons. Thanks in advance.

    So with a lock up clutch like this does it completely eliminate the need for a clutch lever? I understand it engages using centrifugal force once you rev to a certain RPM point based on the weights but then does it disengage automatically once the RPMs go down and the centrifugal force lowers?

      TrailBlogger what your thinking of is a slipper clutch that expands and engages fibers under rpm. Rekluse

      yes you still need to use a clutch lever

      +MrCuervoRacing You mean slider instead of slipper? or for a dirtbikes (not sure about atv's) a rekluse clutch?

    just installed a full fibre clutch and having the biggest dramas atm replace the cable to see if that fixes it (has copped 700hrs of abuse on the trails) its not disengaging fully i think idk its bloody annoying. (2020 raptor 700r)

    Think you mean centrifugal force not centripetal force. How is the lock up clutch balanced ? I’m guessing all the end weights, nuts and the arms on the end are all very equal in weight. Guessing the alloy mounting plate it’s all assembled on is balanced too ?

    What is the racing set up using this application here you spoke upon? And how do you get your 4 stroke oil in the bike if using the design cover you have there?

    • @MrCuervoRacing
      @MrCuervoRacing  Před 7 lety +1

      Joe Bliw engine oil goes thru the oil tank. The factory base cover still has the fill plug as well

    My bike has the OEM set up in it now. But what's now going on is this: I can put my bike in gear however, it's not engaging the tranny. So im just reving bike. Can I possibly tighten the center nut or bolt along with the 6 clutch springs back up and it then engages my tranny so I can ride the bike?

    • @MrCuervoRacing
      @MrCuervoRacing  Před 7 lety +1

      Joe Bliw sounds like you need a new complete clutch kit, steels, fibers and springs.

      Titus Weinz yes. This clutch works like normal. It just adds additional pressure
