- so this animatic took me almost two years to make. I am TIRED. Why did I spend so much time on this? I don't know. Why did it take so long to make? I don't know. WHY DID I MAKE THIS SO DETAILED?? I DON"T KNOW. WHY DID I DO THIS TO MYSELF?? I DON'T-
This video literally goes against every animatic rule out there, but here it is. It's finally done. I never want to look at this again, but I hope any Voltron fans still out there enjoy this.
Context:
It is universally known that Shiro is Space Dad and the paladins are his Children. Here is a video about his daily struggles with his hell spawn that don't mean to make his life miserable, but somehow manage to do so, anyway.
I don't own the audio or Voltron (obviously) but I do own the drawings! The audio has been borrowed from Michael McIntyre, an absolutely fabulous English comedian that I adore. His original stand-up act that inspired this animatic can be found here:

Shiro: FINEE!!! DO IT IN THE CAR!!! WHERE'S YOUR BAG, WHERE'S YOUR OTHER SHOE?

I honestly thought the jacket scene was so fitting for Lance. He's so chaotic and stubborn and I could see this exact conversation happening every single time they left the house :)))

Oh my gosh this is AMAZING! And it's even funnier when I remember that all of these children are canonically in their late teen, minus Pidge, and I can 100% see them all being like this. Acting as though they are four.
Halfway through making this I seriously considered redrawing all of the Paladins (except for Shiro) as children because I wasn't sure if it'd have the same effect if they were still their canon aged selves. But I'm glad it worked out!! Thanks for commenting!

aww thank you so much! I totally agree...Animating takes SO much time, and this technically wasn't even a proper animation! The entire process is so tedious but it's definitely worth it in the end!
