Larry has been in business for 30 years and cutting hair for 36 years. He’s seen decades of change in the hair industry! How long have you been a barber?
@@larrysbarbercollege I heard him say that. As for me, I’ve been a barber for 24 years.
Hey Larry!! I hope you remember Carlos from the Joliet College!!
Great admiration for you and your great Heart always!! I’ve seen this client for ages😅
Even I am not practicing Barbering anymore I still have the touch and the lesson I learned from you and is the basis for the entire haircut is marking the first line with the clippers and not hitting with the liners!! That saves time and work!!
Awesome job man
Larry you the truth!!! Much respect brother!!!
I've never seen that technique with the 76s amazing! Its motivating! more than I've had in a while
STRAIGHT “OG” Barber. MUCH RESPECT
This is one of the best videos I've scene teaching on how to do fade. Perfectly explained. When you have time, can you do one on how to properly to an edge up? Blessings
This gentleman talks from experience.

Great tutorial...my teachers at my 1st shop had me learn to be disciplined at my craft with my blades for my 76 and the cuts always stayed consistent. Sub'd btw you had me dyin' about the screwdrivers and hot clippers hahaha!!
My first video watching and I just love the way he knows how to cut others barbershops don't know how to cut and rush u for 40 dollars smh and want to be mad cause we tell em how we want it ...I wish you were in Chicago frfr
We are located in Chicago! Inside of Walmart in the Chatham and Pullman communities. Our school is located on 10456 S Halsted

Your facts brother I'll give you a round of applause man everything you say in this video is straight Facts new school barbers all they do is know how to use enhancements don't take their time and try Rush the haircut straight 100 on this video keep them coming man you got knowledge ..
Clean fade
This dude cold! And wit no guards 🥶
Subbed. Great Artistry and Knowledge
I wish my barber school had teachers like this
You can be the change though! What school do you attend? We have 4 campuses throughout the Chicagoland area.
Great skills excellent video 👏🏾💞
He the master of it all coldest I ever seen
Dope man. A real inspiration. I definitely want to be an instructor. I went through the training but didn't take the exam. So I'm studying for.it again now. Great video. I would like to learn more of course because my instructor said you can fade with less equipment and learning to blend out a line 😳
Amazing Talent!!! 💪
I need this man to do my hair. I have a receding line and thinning hair on my crown but my hair is like 5in long. Uneven all around.. haven't been to a barber in almost 2 decades. Mainly because every time I went, they'd cut my neck and it'd be red and scab.
What's up Brother? I love the way up teach! Finally an old school barber that know what he's doing. Check it out; I don't like using enhancements on a haircut. I think it takes away from the real skill of barbering. I'm 71 years old, and still putting it on the floor. Keep on doing what you do; your good at it! Peace, Brother!
Thank you. Have you ever thought of being an Instructor? We have multiple campuses that could use your knowledge 💈📚🔥
Thank's my Brother for the compliment, I take that as a great honor; and I will give it some thought. One thing I do know for sure, "Father Time waits on no one, and he really runs a hard race to victory." Peace, my Brother! God bless!
You the man Larry
Very good my brotha!
90”s hair industry knowledge 💪🏽
Thank you 🙏🏽
Yes sir you have to use your left hand it’s a must!!
Good stuff Barber.
Very good informative
Salute this is sooooo much free game
Great instructor
Thank you so much for this. I appreciate it 🙏🏽
Amazing video!! I’m working on my self cut. I’ve been doing it since the pandemic and at times I still show my barber support. I have wavy hair like the gentlemen in the chair. I typically stay with a 2 guard, would it be the same measurement for the blade with the oster 76? I’m thinking about trying it out.
This guy is good and you can tell he loves what he do. Perfected his craft.
This video is a 💎
Thank you for that info I work construction but in my free time I’m gonna get me a few clients on the weekends and start back cutting hair out of the crib
I was looking forward to the end result 😂
Bro I appreciate you for your talent . You enlightened me you took your time and explained the whole concept of cutting hair and barbering ship, where are you located.

That's old school using one pair of Clippers for a haircut man I can relate to every thing he saying cause he from 80's 90s barbering I can tell
This video has made me a great barber.
Woooo! Congratulations. What steps were you taking previously? Are you familiar with your tools too?
@@larrysbarbercollege I was using the guard lines like my life depended on it, 1 time I visited a friend who wanted me to shave him, his trimmer didn't have guards, I was forced to use his afro comb as a guard...
I've learnt that the direction of the top hair while cutting also needs to be taken into consideration.
Who is this man 🔥💎. This is when you pay $100 for a haircut.
