Me and my family will be staying there this summer. We usually just stay at the main resort area but wanted to try something more chill this time. Thanks for the walk thru.
I will be honest in the summer it is the best! It is a lot more relaxing, but you can ALWAYS take the boat or the trucks to the main area. It is nice to get away for a bit and relax. We love their hot tub and pools over looking the lake. It is just beautiful. Have a great time!!!

You should show the wild rock golf course as well! We got married there back in June. The place is stunning! The golf course is ranked pretty high for great golf courses.
I go to the wilderness a hand full of times every year, never stayed at the wilderness on the lake but we’ll have to try on our next trip!
I watched many videos of venues at the dells never really saw much of any of the venues at the wilderness, that would be good content for future brides
Congratulations on your wedding!! I will add the WIld Rock Golf course to our list! The Wilderness on the Lake does offer a shuttle to the main location/ all the waterparks. @Jessicalynoriginals When you go the crowds are always small. We like going here at least twice a year. We are a homeschool family so we are flexible when do you usually travel (what weeks)
We prefer to embark on our adventures from Sunday to Thursday whenever feasible, steering clear of holidays when schools are closed. Amidst the challenges of covid, we opted for week-long getaways, balancing daytime classes online with afternoon/evening fun. I admire your dedication to homeschooling; it's undoubtedly demanding. Consider exploring Condos for additional space and tranquility. As a side note, we're preparing for our first-weekend visit in quite some time-spoiled by our extended week-long stays. I have been to the original hotel but never the one on the lake. We are not much relaxing people but whenever we do will go here
I can get behind that. There are definitely trips when we go crazy to the water park slides. If it's a trip with my husband sometimes we'll take a little more time and relax. But I will tell you the wilderness on the Lake does. Give you the opportunity to get away from all of that craziness.
wanted to book a room at the wilderness on the lake, but for the ferry, BUT you did say it's only open in the summer.

Now I will say the ferry in the summer is absolutely beautiful. But yes it only runs from memorial day to labor day Typically.. Now I will say booking at the wilderness on the Lake and taking the bus shuttle is not bad.. I hope you have a wonderful time when you go.
