भाईसाहब, तरीका तो अच्छी तरह से बताया है। छत की वाटर प्रूफिंग सिर्फ ब्रिक बैट से करे, फ्लोअर टाईल ईस्तेमाल न करे।
कुछ लोगों को फ्री एडवाईज की किमत नहीं होती, .... अगर कोई पैसे लेकर यही बात समझाएगा तभी मानेंगे।

It's labour oriented and take long time, but all is well. No crack & leakage if proper sloping, watering_quaring is done I am happy for last 15 years ., have nice time.

- Should not increase the load of the roof too much

Sir i had done all kind of water proof technique such as brick vat then did koba then installed tiles then filled the grouta with epoxy then damproof...and still within 2 days rain all leakage started this caused damaged to pop ceiling... damaged lights...wall are wet hence all paint poped out...on top of it the frustration qnd water in room keeping bucket n clothes for wipe and frustration and cost of repair...

Dana lagaiye chote chote prices ka marble jo ki uske masale me aur colors aur design bhi bana sakte hai jo pahle use kiya jata tha tiles anne ke pahle isme kabhi sipez nahi ayega
Agar tiles lagate vakt proper utar rakha jaye to Pani rukta nahi aur sidha niche ki aur bah ker pipe se niche utar jayega. Jaha tiles ka utar baraber nahi hota vahi per Pani jama hota ya thaher jata hai. Fir niche utarta hai aur chhat tapakne lagti hai. Lekin chhat ki tiles per 1 inch ka utar rakhenge to ye koi bhi problem nahi hoti.
अगर waterproofing करके भी उसके उपर टाइल लगा दी जाय तो भी contraction relaxation की वजह से जोईंट खुलके टाइल और वॉटरproofing के बिचमे पानी रह जाता है बादमे धूपमें ये पानी गैस बनजाता है और ये टाइल फाड़ के निकल आता है इससे वॉटरप्रूफ़िंग भी damage हो जाता है

- In all the below mentioned methods it is required to overlay the waterproofing layer with a protective layer of cement plaster or screed or tiles so that the waterproofing layer is protected from wear & tear & direct sunlight.
Method 1 :
- Proper surface preparation
- 2 coats of Urp waterproofing - Applied perpendicular to each other
- Followed by 2 coats of Fastflex 113.
** Read product documents properly before Application . Download it from Dr. Fixit site. Get the work done in front of you.
- After 2-3 days of Last coat of Fast Flex. Block the drains or Put bricks rangat in place & Fill the whole roof with Water to check any leakage.
- There should not be any leakage but if there is then get that area fixed.
- Sign a verbal or written contract with waterproofing vendor that till the the time satisfactory water standing test is done no payment would be made.

Method 2 :
- 2 coats of Elephant Shield Company Liquid Rubber.
- You won't be able to find contractors for this particular product & have to read & get it done yourself from Labors
- Check the product before buying as sometimes rubber moulds are formed in the container.

- Old School Way of burning Coal Tar
Can we use Damp proof on terrace tiles
Informative but please advise whether water proofing of old roof by other methods like coating by liquid rubber, Dr fixit roofseal etc. is feasible and workable.

Contact your local dealer of Dr fixit products they have experienced contractors who do waterproofing on rooftops ask him for survey they will give you the estimate of waterproofing as well as tell you the through process step by step you can if you wish like us can also take advice of a civil engineer of process so that nothing cannot be missed he charged 700₹ for a visit it helped a lot because he guided the vitals of good curing of cement after the process
Contact the company of cement and ask them the season in which you will do the curing as well as process and timeline in which their product require curing for its hardning without producing major cracks because hairline crack is Normal after the process thickness of 1 to 2 mm

@@dont_talk2me i recommend winter season because it's the best season for curing if you missed some point in the method this will not become much blunder like in summers after it if you have normal cealing from inside then ok but if you have false cealing then proper sanding a minimalist pop coating and painting will do the work and if lights are damaged then took them to local electrical shop adapter and led plate will be replaced this is all the processes which I do and after which my cealing is fine I have a big sky ligh fitted in my cealing even it haven't dripped since I have all done all the processes if you done waterproofing with a good contractor he will also provide you 10 year warranty on paper like we people get after the process and remember made your checklist and follow it rigidly all these contractor will persue you to skip some points but dnt listen to them because it's your loss only if something bad happened afterwards first analyse carefully with the civil engineer , contractor & cement company technical expert then made a checklist and follow it rigidly without skipping any point
