Vevor 2-Stage High Flow, High Vacuum Pump Review

This seems like a decent high flow vacuum pump for the price, it really is pretty decent value considering the flow rate for a 2 stage high vacuum pump it just is not built like much more expensive pumps but is great for what is costs.

I had the Robinair pump of the same model as yours; I sold it a while ago and it was a real workhorse never requiring more than oil changes. If you do occasional a/c work, the Vevor is more than enough @ 12 cfm....but those who need something for regular professional use, I still would recommend the Robinair.

Traditional refrigeration is 1/4 and 3/8 SAE fittings . The odd thread is either 1/4 [rare ] or 1/2 ACME found only on automobiles .
Just read the my dead Robinair instructions and the open ballast is used to eject first moisture down to around 3000 micron then u close the valve . Its faster and makes the oil last longer .

The fittings on the Vevor allows you to connect your gauge hoses directly to the pump.

Good to see a review . I am looking at purchasing this vac pump but cannot find FACTRY SPECS anywhere . Mainly the RPM as I suspect its 2800--3500 . This is whats measured on forums vs . Robinair will be 1500--1800rpm . Running at very high rpm may need a different oil and its obvious will wear out quicker . Over heating cut out has been an issue in reviews

I now have 2 single stage vacuum pumps since someone was selling a brand new one with gadgets that were used ince for $20 off the Craigslist and i really only do car stuff and it looks like the 2 stage can pull a lot better vacuum but my question is doesvit really matter is it worth getting a 2 stage

7:19 as a matter of fact, I am watching this video because i care about scientific grade vacuum pumps. because i need one of these roughing pumps to pump it down before i can even use my scientific grade vacuum pumps. lol

What kinda oil do you need to replace the oil on these?

There is special vacuum pump oil, auto parts stores usually will sell it for air conditioning service machines.
Fill to the middle center line of the window on the pump.
