    Hey SkyScope! Great work getting a drone shot here! I couldn't do it because of all the no-flyzone issue. I am doing a feature of one of the downtown restaurants and I was wondering if I could use a part of this video to introduce some parts of the downtown Victoria in my video (I will be sure to credit your YT channel). Let me know!

    How can I immigrate and live up there, it's a great place .. thanks in advance ... peace

    • @GavinMichaels
      @GavinMichaels Před 3 lety +6

      It's super difficult to immigrate to Canada, speaking from experience. I've tried two years in a row to immigrate from the U.S. to B.C. and I got denied both times. You need a certain number of what are called CRS points and that determines how likely you are to be selected.
      The easiest way to get into Canada is to have a job offer from a Canadian company - which is harder than it sounds since that company has to prove that
      1. They tried to hire Canadians and no one was qualified for the position
      2. You're the best candidate for the job
      After that's been proved they then have to pay a large sum of money to hire you on.
      So it needs to be in a "Needed Occupation" i.e. Tech, aeroscience, health, etc.
      Best of luck dude! I hope you get in.

    • @andarfantasticolee3268
      @andarfantasticolee3268 Před 2 lety

      @@GavinMichaels sorry to say this your points are not accurate because you are giving points base on your experience, thousands of immigrants move to Canada yearly, Once you are compete of being selected you will definitely have easier access to migrate moreover Covid really slowed down a lot of things.

    • @GavinMichaels
      @GavinMichaels Před 2 lety

      @@andarfantasticolee3268 I'm not sure exactly what you're saying... Yes lots of people do immigrate to Canada, around 200,000 yearly, but that doesn't indicate the difficulty of immigrating. Their immigration process is much stricter and harder to pass than most countries, and you have to have someone sponsor you. So if you don't have a family member to sponsor, a spouse, or a job opportunity, you're out of luck.

    Can i fly a sub 250 gram drone in victoria island freely?

    • @skyscopeimagery
      @skyscopeimagery  Před 2 lety +2

      Technically yes you can fly a sub 250g drone anywhere in Canada as long as you are not endangering people and aircraft. However, due to the amount of low level air traffic downtown Victoria we wouldn't recommended flying anywhere near the Victoria harbour without first contacting the local tower. Look into getting basic drone license. It is cheap and fairly easy and will help you understand how and where to fly your drone safely and legally. Best, Ryan
