Add in the attractive Red Fox and Harlequin Duck, and you're set. Yukon is also better since the Grizzly Bear got reset. Now they appear with Caribou from 4-8, making for more fun hunting. Plus the Crimson Red Plain and Recovering Teekon Forest are among the best habitats in the game. Yukon rules!
My top five is: 1.Silver 2.Sundapatran 3.Revontuli 4.Australia 5.Vurhonga As someone who is playing this game from time there were only Hirschfelden, Layton, Vurhonga, Parque Fernando and Medved Taiga, I have to tell that this game is getting better and that's great. I love it, the best game I ever play
For me, the atmosphere of a map is pretty much the defining factor of whether I like it or not: #1: Hirschfelden (always been my favourite and it's unlikely to change - hunting for single player diamond red foxes and bison is a core memory at this point) #2: Sundarpartan (really love the diverse environments in each part of the map and am currently enjoying a tahr grind) #3: Medved (another beautifully atmospheric map which will probably jump back up to #2 once my initial interest in Sundarpartan wears off) #4: Vurhonga (funnily enough, despite the brilliant selection of animals, the main reason for its rank is the mission storyline which was by far the best of any map) #5: Yukon (there's something about those red, bushy hills and that one mountaintop that the missions take you to at the end of the storyline)
Fernando is a map that was killed by the company itself, he was not popular, but people used the map to hunt their unique species, today the map has only one duck and no one will use the map just for that.

my top 5, I dont own sundarpatan but I just play online for that map, list is from worst to best 1- emerald coast 2- yukon valley 3-sundarpatan 4- hirschfelden 5- layton lakes
-I love the Yukon valley map, first map that they put the real carnivorous animal into the game, the weather was also very amazing for the change from normal to snow and it was stunning. -The second 'wow' belong to Revotuli Coast, "quack quack" everywhere, best map for new players for farming money and level up. (but the story not my type) -I was interested in the Vurhonga Savana map too, but I realized I only get hyped for the lion, everything becomes chasing and shooting, so a bit upset. - The Nepal map is my favourite now, the new mechanic of the tiger was great, and it brings a lot of animals also.
My top maps are 1- sundarpatan because tigers are my favourite animal irl and getting to hunt them makes me love it so much 2-cuatro I have always loved this map since it came out and it has a soft spot in my heart for that map I love the ibex and red deer hunting there 3-Mississippi acres I love the gators and the challenges of hunting this map makes the trophies fell more special and as I work with gators irl I loved it when that first trailer came out with the gator since then I have loved it and I always will
Extremely unpopular opinion but im not super keen on Sunderpatan I do enjoy the animal line-up but the tigers feel more like a nuisance than a proper predator they are a threat ill give them that but I feel like I run into one around every corner and each time it becomes a little less cool I still do love the map but when they said there would only be 16 on the entire map I definitely didn't think I would see them this much
@ProXCK Oh definitely I was really expecting some kind of bird I would've loved a himalayan snow cock, Chukar partridge or my personal favourite Koklass pheasant all of these would've been awesome still a S tier map
SRP will always be my favorite map for how easy it is to hunt, and how interesting the animals on the map are like mountain goat and elk and bighorn sheep, I hardly play it anymore only because I have multiple diamonds of every species I want, but if they were to come out with a new or backfilled species on that map I would grind it into oblivion

My favorite is Layton Lake, because it’s the only map I played. I had the base version and didn’t even realize I could go to other maps without “beating” Layton. Obviously I’m terrible at the game lol

I agree with almost everything on this list exept Yukon, definetly a top 3 map imo. Dynamic weather, amazing species, a lot of different biomes that require you to adapt your hunting strategies and the threat/challange of multiple aggressive species. Although it could do with some more small game species or something like the Roosevelt elk or the dull sheep.
Good list & explanations. Here's my overall ranking: GOD - Layton Lakes S - Yukon, Sundarpatan A - Medved, Hirschfelden, Vurhonga B - Cuatro, Parque, SRP C - Te Awaroa, NEM, Rancho, Emerald Coast D - Mississippi Revontuli not ranked as I have no interest in bird hunting so I've never played it.
Good fact; the recently Announced an update that makes it to where anything 100m from a tent will spook, making a tiger grind borderline impossible so they will get there scarcity back.
My fav maps are 1. Silver ridge peaks 2. Sundarpatan 3. Cuatro colinas 4. Parque fernando 5. Rancho del arrooyiotoyooy Edit: sundarpatan is not top 1 because its too thick of a map but i love the species and also emerald coast and savanna are 6th and 7th places on my list

I loved this video! As someone whos been playing 5 years heres my top 5 1. Mississippi 2. Medved 3. Hirschfelden 4. Layton lakes 5. Sundarpatan These are all pretty much tied for me other than Mississippi, which is #1 by far. It doesn't matter how much i play this game, Mississippi always has a challenging adventure in store for me. Mississippi has few unique speeches but they all feel like brand new speices to me because the hunt plays out so differently than in other maps. On Mississippi you really feel like the animals have a big advantage and you need to outsmart them and stratagize. Whereas an experienced player can just play on autopilot on most maps. But thats not to say theres a lack of dumb fun on Mississippi either! Grab your shotgun and run the fields for quail, racoon, and rabbit. Set up some blinds in the swamp and pile up some ducks.

Absolutely love hirschfelden, it is nostagic even though i have only played the game for like 2 years. No it's not the best but it is so beautiful and a very fun map to play
@@ProXCK maybe this isn't that interesting but I still want to share that my favourite animal in the whole game is roe deer and it is most fun to hunt them on hirschfelden, it just doesn't feel like they fit in on cuatro colinas

My top 5 are 1. Cuatro- Got my first and currently only great one. Asides that fantastic memory the map is beautiful and has alot of enjoyable and unique species to hunt. 2. Medved- Absoultely gorgeous map and has always been a favorite even before they made the animals more dense and added more species. 3. Revontuli - Really fun map overall. I must admit like in real life I'm no bird hunter but the map is great fun just to run around on. 4. Emerald Coast- Crocs make earning money actually fun... also once again great diversity of animals to hunt as well! 5. SRP- First diamond came from this map, and it was one of my favorite species to hunt irl (Pronghorn). However the Mountain lions have really made hunting this map unenjoyable to the point where i barely bother hunting elk because theres too many cats. Still a great map and hopefully they turned the ML population down so the map can maybe go back towards the top of the list where it used to be!
Great video. Very good ranking. One of the hardest maps to leave once you get going on it is definitely Revontuli. Hope they fix the ducks soon so I can go back to my duck grind
I love new england but how they made the map breaks my heart, add woodchuck, ruffed grouse, spruce grouse, feral hogs, opposums, and more unique waterfowl like woodduck or scoters. For me it’s 1: revoltuli, love bird hunting so I cub so this map can’t be beat. 2: sunderpatan, tigers and snow leopards nuff said, 3: OZ, crocs and stubble quail, 4: Rancho, really enjoy the desert pheasant hunting and 5: is probs Mississippi, because gators and raccoons are cool
1.Revontulia Best map overall for any type of hunting your into. Especially multiplayer 2. SRP The second best for multiplayer, ok for grinding since mnt lions ruin it 3.Te Awaroa The red deer and fallow grinding carries it. Its incredibly easy to find diamond red deer. In just 90 hours of grinding I got 32+ diamonds, 9+ piebalds, 1 albino 4. Med Ved Moose and reindeer are very addicting. My moose grind so far: 17+ diamonds, 6 piebalds, 3 melas in about 33 hours 5. Emerald coast The reason its not higher is due to crocs ruining my waterfowl and drink zone grinding. But overall its not bad just kinda wish they added back the old spook system so animals dont just high tail it when they see a croc or something Btw I really cant see why you put hirsh in A and New england in D even though you said New england is a mix of hirsh of Layton. Im not defending new england its a terrible map but just because your reason for hirsh is in A is because its "challenging" doesnt really cut it for me. But I can understand having your first map you ever played and learned how to play the game in a high rank. I personally think they need to rework hirsh's vegetation since pretty hideous atm

I love birds and bow hunting so for me 1) Revontuli 2) New England 3) New Zealand. Honestly anything with turkey, pheasants, upland birds and deer and I’m good!
I do not understand the hate for New England, I have all the maps . It might be the best North American game map followed closely by SRP. If you like Layton, New England is essentially the extended directors cut box set of Layton, better in every way. My least favorite map is Rancho I've never liked it. My favorite is Revontuli

Silver ridge is the worst map only because there are too many animals. It is overpopulated and too easy to be serious map

I agree with almost everything on this list exept Yukon, definetly a top 3 map imo. Dynamic weather, amazing species, a lot of different biomes that require you to adapt your hunting strategies and the threat/challange of multiple aggressive species. Although it could do with some more small game species or something like the Roosevelt elk or the dull sheep.
It's a beautiful map no doubt. Never really got to love the animal lineup tbh, feels like they went for the bare minimum

Good fact; the recently Announced an update that makes it to where anything 100m from a tent will spook, making a tiger grind borderline impossible so they will get there scarcity back.
Yeah that will help with that. I just hope the tahr get a drink time too because of how many tahr grinds will be ruined with that change

These are all pretty much tied for me other than Mississippi, which is #1 by far. It doesn't matter how much i play this game, Mississippi always has a challenging adventure in store for me. Mississippi has few unique speeches but they all feel like brand new speices to me because the hunt plays out so differently than in other maps. On Mississippi you really feel like the animals have a big advantage and you need to outsmart them and stratagize. Whereas an experienced player can just play on autopilot on most maps. But thats not to say theres a lack of dumb fun on Mississippi either! Grab your shotgun and run the fields for quail, racoon, and rabbit. Set up some blinds in the swamp and pile up some ducks.

I've played a lot of mississippi too, can't say I don't enjoy it. I just wish they kept some species like the raccoons and the quails unique to that map.

@@ProXCK maybe this isn't that interesting but I still want to share that my favourite animal in the whole game is roe deer and it is most fun to hunt them on hirschfelden, it just doesn't feel like they fit in on cuatro colinas

My top 5 are
1. Cuatro- Got my first and currently only great one. Asides that fantastic memory the map is beautiful and has alot of enjoyable and unique species to hunt.
2. Medved- Absoultely gorgeous map and has always been a favorite even before they made the animals more dense and added more species.
3. Revontuli - Really fun map overall. I must admit like in real life I'm no bird hunter but the map is great fun just to run around on.
4. Emerald Coast- Crocs make earning money actually fun... also once again great diversity of animals to hunt as well!
5. SRP- First diamond came from this map, and it was one of my favorite species to hunt irl (Pronghorn). However the Mountain lions have really made hunting this map unenjoyable to the point where i barely bother hunting elk because theres too many cats. Still a great map and hopefully they turned the ML population down so the map can maybe go back towards the top of the list where it used to be!

Great video. Very good ranking. One of the hardest maps to leave once you get going on it is definitely Revontuli. Hope they fix the ducks soon so I can go back to my duck grind

I love new england but how they made the map breaks my heart, add woodchuck, ruffed grouse, spruce grouse, feral hogs, opposums, and more unique waterfowl like woodduck or scoters. Honestly just some cool new stuff also the big game should get smaller ranges to make the map more fun.

For me it’s 1: revoltuli, love bird hunting so I cub so this map can’t be beat. 2: sunderpatan, tigers and snow leopards nuff said, 3: OZ, crocs and stubble quail, 4: Rancho, really enjoy the desert pheasant hunting and 5: is probs Mississippi, because gators and raccoons are cool
The bird hunting on rev will always be my favorite thing

Best map overall for any type of hunting your into. Especially multiplayer
2. SRP
The second best for multiplayer, ok for grinding since mnt lions ruin it
3.Te Awaroa
The red deer and fallow grinding carries it. Its incredibly easy to find diamond red deer. In just 90 hours of grinding I got 32+ diamonds, 9+ piebalds, 1 albino
4. Med Ved
Moose and reindeer are very addicting. My moose grind so far: 17+ diamonds, 6 piebalds, 3 melas in about 33 hours
5. Emerald coast
The reason its not higher is due to crocs ruining my waterfowl and drink zone grinding. But overall its not bad just kinda wish they added back the old spook system so animals dont just high tail it when they see a croc or something
Btw I really cant see why you put hirsh in A and New england in D even though you said New england is a mix of hirsh of Layton. Im not defending new england its a terrible map but just because your reason for hirsh is in A is because its "challenging" doesnt really cut it for me. But I can understand having your first map you ever played and learned how to play the game in a high rank. I personally think they need to rework hirsh's vegetation since pretty hideous atm

As for your question, the fact NEM is a DLC map makes it even worse, need to be harsher judging a DLC. Also, the atmosphere doesn't compare to Hirsch's imo, Hirsch just feels way more unique for me. And I love hunting euro bison too lol

I do not understand the hate for New England, I have all the maps . It might be the best North American game map followed closely by SRP. If you like Layton, New England is essentially the extended directors cut box set of Layton, better in every way. My least favorite map is Rancho I've never liked it. My favorite is Revontuli

@ProXCK the reason missisippi is so high on my list is because it's near identical to where I hunt and where I killed my first few deer at. Plus I love doing drives and those maps are perfect for doing drives on

i really love hunting crocodiles on emerald coast and kangaroos and banteng its just so unique thats why i have it at number 3
i have never played sundarpatan i dont have money to buy it and i cant find any multiplayer servers but i love the tigers that attack you and just want to kill you and i love that it brought 10 new animals but im not a fan of the new great one it just feels i bit werid to me thats why i have it at number 2
i am from africa myself and i really enjoy hunting animals that i have seen IRL i just got my first diamond buffalo yesterday and my first ever diamond came from this map it is just so enjoyable for me so thats why i have it at number1
