@@Pensnmusic what I don’t understand is why we have have so many different terms for genders?? Like I get if you want to cut your hair and dress more masculine but why do we have change our gender?
@@jeansanne7643 language evolves to fit gaps in communication. You might not find a use for the new terms, but the whole point of them existing is that some people do so they ended up being used. We have a bunch of terms for different subtypes of animals and grass and clouds that a lot of people don't use, but those words are still very relevant to the people who do need them. In regards to the dressing more masculine and changing gender, that really comes down to the individual. *You* don't have to change your gender, even if you want to dress masculine. You can be masculine and still want to be seen as a woman. But there are some people where the gender they were called from birth is not the one right for them. This can be hard to understand if you don't personally experience it, but if you're ever in a situation where you get called the wrong gender consistently and feel very uncomfortable, that might give you an idea. That's not a common experience for people who aren't trans, but it does happen (especially to people who look sex-ambiguous). Gender is as much in our brains as it is in our social lives and the way we look. Scientific and anthropological research is finding more and more how much gender seems to be internal just as it can be external, and that becomes very clear in trans people, who often feel an innate desire to be seen as their internal gender, and may experience lots of discomfort from being consistently called something else. This is why many trans people report gender dysphoria that is substantially eleviated by transitioning and being referred to by the gender they are.

If a person existing challenges some fundamental world view that you have, maybe question that world view and why it requires *everyone* to be a certain way in the first place.

So, basically, there is no point to it whatsoever and it’s another label to be picked up or put down.
the way u present yourself doesn't need a label. creating new labels like this is only solidifying gender stereotypes.
It's a way to fixate on oneself
They just said the way they present themself can be different from their identity. It’s funny how to point can go right over your head.
@@Woodchipfiendwhat does the way u present urself got to do with ur identity? u can wear whatever u want without having to change your identity
@@seaweedbrain4127 I think its more of putting a label to describe what you feel. For example, someone may prefer to be called they instead of she because it makes them feel more comfortable in themselves. Not saying I entirely agree with gender ideology but just thought this explanation might help :)
@@Cyra_The_Jedi ive asked non binary people what they mean by "feeling" and all they end up saying at the end is "the way they present themselves" like clothes, hairstyles, personalities. and i feel putting a label on these things is sexist and dangerous coz it gives off the idea that u cant be a girl/boy if u feel like a certain way

- Female = very common
- Genetic Mutations = extremely rare

Your brain is a genetic mutation
People like to use “what about intersex?” as an argument even though intersex people are either male or female with a birth defect and go through a male or female puberty 😂

@@Dr.Meola1980 So what, sterile people are now genderless?
What is this woman talking about?
I didnt got it
I can see how you'd be confused. Here's some clarification!:
Non-binary: Being non-binary means that your gender identity is outside of the gender norm. While the person is still female/male (as sex cannot be changed) their gender is kind of a middle ground between man and woman.
Androgynous: being androgynous means that you don't dress particularly femininely or masculinely, or you dress both.
This person is saying that being non-binary doesn't mean you dress gender-neutrally/androgynously. Hope this helps!

No one cares as much as you want them to
So you were born a woman, present as a woman, dress as a woman, but you're not a woman and don't want to be called one. I don't think you clarified anything. I'm fully aware that gender disphoria is real, but when do we as a society get to admit that most people are just doing this for attention?
Their not though. that's the thing, most people don't do it for attention but people see it as that and ignore their feelings making them feel like shit. It's like saying 'people who do self harm or commit suicide are just doing it for attention' no their not. their doing it because they are struggling and they can't handle it. Non-binary people or LGBTQIA+ people in general are just being them selves and then getting shamed for it. so just stfu and keep your shitty opinion to your self.
