'Greenleaf' star Lynn Whitfield describes building her character from scratch

Actress Lynn Whitfield, who stars in "Greenleaf" on OWN, says her character Lady Mae Greenleaf was nothing like you see her now when she first got her hands on the script. She described the influences that went into creating Lady Mae and the interactions she still has with fans who recognize her as Brandi from "The Thin Line Between Love and Hate."

Some how I wished that this comment would be read by Lynn Whitfield. She was phenomenal in the Series of Greenleaf. She has an Anointed voice each time she spoke it provoked me to take a look at myself. In Season 5 , episode 8 she spoke about something "New" and it was so Anointed until I was rejoicing and praising God right here in my apartment. I really hope that they consider coming back with other seasons.
