While viewing the Suprabatham, a thought came to me if there is Rudhram also.
I'm so glad that good hearts have done such a great job having the divine chanting online.
    May Almighty bless you people!

Thumbs up for Mercury Lingams!!!!!, Very- Very Powerful, I cannot describe the benefits one derives from even seeing such a lingam., It is said that only by the Grace of Lord Shiva one gets to see this, even more the grace when one gets to have this. Keep the Milk cool/cold always, I pour Cold Milk and Ice water mixed with gangajal 90/10 or 95/5, special occasions 0/100 on mine..

I have listened to the clear and slow rendering of the Rudram ,Chamakam,Purusha Suktam etc under 'neelrudra'. I am eargly looking for ward to Auysh suktam, Bhagya suktam, Ganapthi Adharva sheerisham, Surya Upanishaid, Titreyam and other important sukatam. The clear diction makes us to follow and repeat clearly and folllow them.

@Ooga001 south indian is more sing song, like this taught in Veda-Patashalas, or simply Vedic schools, more advanced the student, more the sing song it sounds, to preserve the original 'swara' and vibrations, takes about 9 to 19 years to master from a 'guru', Your energy body Vibrates and sync with this. North Indian is more sharp and, personally I would say Dull. energy body also vibrates but at a higher pitch, you really have to be sensitive to pick up the freq.

    • @AmericanDiary01

+sandra martin this is called Abhishek . Abhishek is a Sanskrit term denoting a devotional activity of giving Holy bath to a deity. It literally means “to cleanse.” Before starting the ritual, a devotee washes his hands and pours water over the Ling. However, this practice is not to cleanse the Ling, as God doesn’t need any cleansing. He is the purest-but it is an implication of cleaning oneself. Later milk is poured on the Shiv Ling, which is a connotation of purifying one’s life and washing all the sins from oneself.
