There's a woman in the town I live in who made a fur coat exclusively made from animals killed on accident. Took her something like 15 years to finish it. Amongst other reasons, she did it to show how ridiculous it is to mass produce such things.
That’s one of the coolest things I’ve ever heard. Things should not be mass produced in these ways.

lot of chickens are stunned with electricity before getting their heads chopped of or neck cut, sooo... I guess just stop eating animals and wearing them.
@@096MaxikinG096 That's a great point. That's why we meat eaters should be aware of where the meat we eat comes from, how they were raised and slaughtered. I love animals and perservation but I unfortunatly also really enjoy meat, so I try to only buy meat from my local butcher, that raises the animals himself and uses ''humane'' methods of killing (and the great thing is it is usually way cheaper than a big supermarket chain)

The most successful a kiddie pool purchase has been at Alveus, at least for a “Maya has fun for once” installment. Stompy’s pool is in a league of its own 😂
15 - 40 foxes is insane... The fashion industry is starting to gradually move away from animal fur but the use of replacements (artificial, natural alternatives) is still vastly low in the grand scheme of things.

That’s kinda crazy I live in Canada but I don’t know anywhere you can get real fur other than like a thrift shop with old coats, anywhere else they just don’t sell fur because no one wants it. I thought it was rare nowadays but I guess that’s just around here
@@cassiopeaknack im also in canada and i dont think i can ever remember seeing something being sold using real fur here either? i wonder if there's a reason for that, maybe im just ignorant to it?
@@NaturalBornLoserrrr I’ve looked it up and it’s completely legal and still being sold but I think it’s only sold in stores specifically about that and those are target at the upper class. So I think it’s mainly rich people buying them but I may be wrong. I will say I’ve never seen them at any store that I can enough money to shop at.
@@cassiopeaknack Canada goose uses fur in their hood and sometimes linning, depending on the model. They are super popular here in Europe, and I am assuming Canada too.
Dior and Louis Vuitton are two huge brands that still use fur. Thankfully, the Kering group (who owns gucci and saint laurent) has recently stopped using fur and replaced it with faux. It was an awesome win and proof that change is possible. Keep your voices loud.

I knew that buying fur is terrible, but I didn’t realize just how horrific the industry is. Thanks so much-I came for cute foxes and I left learning a lot.
It was a fun video for the most part but wow the information about the fur trade was really sobering. Thanks for informing us about that and while I've always disapproved of fur coats I will look at them in an even worse light now. The way the foxes are killed is horrible.

The first track (0:00) is Snowdin Town, the second track (0:57) is Shop, the next track (5:09) is Hotel, the track at 7:36 is Snowy, and the track that starts around 11:30 is Home :) Hope that that helps! you aree so amazing for spreading awareness about these horrible industries. Around four years ago I went down a rabbit hole into these topics and it had a huge impact on me going vegan. I have been ever since an advocate of animal rights, they deserve so much better. I love seeing what you do and how much of an impact you´re making on people with your platforms. Also, Feen and Read are really adorable and this was probably on of your biggest successes with a pool party for the animals, they clearly loved the snow. Sending you and all the animals at Alveus lots of love :)

Fur farming in the UK was banned over 20 years ago but not import or trade, unfortunately the government did a u-turn on banning trade recently so it goes on.
I'd love to see how Winnie reacts to one of those giant therapy balls, the inflated bouncy ones.
But there might be a risk of it popping and the animals getting really scared I guess :/
Maybe some kind of improvised parkour trail for the Marmosets where you put bits of Banana purée along the way :)
I just learned about coyote whacking with snowmobiles that’s done to coyotes, foxes, wolves, and other larger mammals and it made me feel so sick. Thank you for the info and keep on doing the good work!
