I have this same bike! 1972 Sl350. Not as complete as this one but i scored it for free with a rebuilt engine. It was just a bucket of parts the frame had busted engine mounts and gas tank was fouled up and cleaned out. i had it completely stripped to the frame re welded the engine mounts to factory condition, repainted it, ordered a clutch cover, new coils, wires, combination regulator, AGM battery, signals, lights, Frankenstein welded two kickstands together, new tires, list kinda goes on, but its now a complete setup. The engine got ignition points tuned up valve clearances checked out, runs beautifully with the foam filter on the original carbs. The carbs were boiled to release the piston valve and cleaned up. Was a labor of love and totally worth bringing it back to life. Still have it it really is a kick ass piece!
My Friday night Kaplan action. Grab a beer, a burger sit down and spend my evening with Jr. And Sr.
My routine.
Thank you brother!!!
Those paint colors are amazing. Really stands out.
My first new motorcycle was a 72’ Honda CL350. Loved it. Only had it less than a year. Lived in Memphis, Stolen off my back porch😂😂😂.
DEATH TO BIKE THEIVES
Nice bike guys I love the blue and gold paint. Always love those sl350 Honda always wanted one but could never afford one. Now they're impossible to find.
I had a red one when I was a teenager. Because of the weight it was not a serious off road bike, but I had a lot of fun with it in the woods. I would love to own another one.
Love it ! Saw a neighbor with 1 & I liked it. I was 6 so too small. To ride my 16 yo brother had the Cl 350. Still. Has it too. He has rebuilt it & works on it 2keep him busy. Lol.
Beautiful bike! Man... That sound sure brings back a lot of memories! My best friend Jason and I used to ride my 1971 SL 350 up and down the river bed here in Tucson almost every night! We probably put 25-30 miles on that bike every night!
I know for fact SL 350 is an awesome bike, because I had one in 1972. Amazing design ! They look good for always, and the bullet proof engine and the mechanicals are top class. On the road you are a cool cat , and off road can scramble almost anywhere. My life took a sharp turn, and I had to sell and move my country in 1974. I miss my SL 350 so much. I loved it so much that I changed the oil every 500 km. Oh well such is life.
In the early 70's these were selling for around $895. I had the CL model. I love the sound of these with the stock pipes. I really wish Honda would bring back a retro version of the SL model.
You guys have the coolest bikes. Though the guy with triple Kaws has some awesome pieces also. I hope to get up that way from here in Ohio some day.
I fell asleep dreaming about a certain 500cc with four wheels severely "on the pipe" at the compound.....
I can feel it coming. It's all I want for Christmas
man I'm so glad you and your crew are doing what you do I love them all to fast slow weird it doesn't matter lol😃
We do too!!
Who would give this channel a thumbs down? This is a guy that puts it all on the line and tells it the way it is. He runs out of money and tells you all about it. I thought I was the only one that runs out of money & comes back like it's normal. He believes in "Go Big or Go Home." Let's not forget about his team. Which is only as good as his worst employee and they all seem GREAT. Good luck team. I hope to buy something from you all one day. God Bless America.
Thank you brother!!!! ML&R
I love it! day after day, you always got some cool eye candy for us all to reminisce over. Straight up! One of my favorite subs on YT!
I always wanted one. Had an SL100 and SL125
The SL series were awesome bikes!
I rode this bike to top of Pikes Peak. What an adventure. 😎
I like this bike, another awesome video
Always loved these, but I was still riding a Z50A when they came out. Haha!
Bikes looks and sounds great. I forgot that Honda did produce this SL350 with a little more "serious" dirtbike look to it (21-inch front wheel, knobbies, etc.). I rode a CB350 back in those days (and I still have it). Those motors hold up well, produce surprising power and torque. Great bike...
Nice bike to go riding with the grandkids. Dig the og paint and spotless engine.
Sad that bikes don't come in colors like these anymore.
Same goes for cars
Everybody wants a SL350, I want one too 🤘
Another beautiful machine! It's awesome what you are doing!!!
Way Cool 😎
Incredible, sl 350, around 40 hp, as much as the 2 stroke racers..what a diff. 2 cylinders makes..
They’re closer to 30hp than 40. Same engine as a CL or CB 350 but set up a bit different for more low end torque. They are super smooth though. My dad had a beat to hell one for years, rode on the back of it a few times as a little kid. It’s long gone now but I’d love to get my hands on one.
My first bike was a 73 sl 70 it was the same paint like that one I more fun on that than any other bike I've owned
I had it's little bro the sl 175 from 72.coming from yamaha enduros these aren't as athletic but a good dependable bike for short trips around town or a little trail riding.cant wait to see what you guys come up w/ this weekend.happy holidays Ken,you are "the man"
OGS as in OG scrambler! 😊
Nice sound. Great job on the motor.
Awesome!!!! Thanks Ken eh your mint.

I wanted one of those so badly when I was young, but could never afford one. :(
Que moto chique
Preston Petty made millions replacing crunched aluminum and fiberglass fenders with plastic ones back in the day.
Yep I remember that name, they were quite popular. Many OEM fenders were steel, I know Kawasaki used steel. Way too heavy, I despised them.
I believe the cylinders can have new sleeves put in so I hope the old cylinder block was saved. See "L.A. Sleeve Co." as one example of people who can do that sort of work.
It seems the auction is over - may I inquire as to what it sold for?
sir, waiting for review of the most reliable machine ( honda CG125)
Looks like a SL 70 with senior on it
Very nice but, why not finish a few small things to be complete..cable, mirror etc etc..?
$$$$ if we put to much into it won't sell
Where I live , if u owned that bike , u would never find a mechanic that knows how to fix it properly, if it broke , they are all way 2 young to have any clue how to fix a bike that old , I owned a 78 Honda, here ,& couldn't find a mechanic to fix .Thats small town living , in northern Canada 🇨🇦,
...and a partridge in a pear tree. They don’t get a whole lot better original
Bella
Should i put all original parts on my 2001 Husqvarna Husky boy 50 or just fix it?
Want!
How tall are you? I’m 6”4’ and I’m thinking of getting one. Would I fit on it?
How much?
I'm surprised that guy sweatshirt has sleeves on it
Its below freezing! Lol
John Wayne
I have an engine for one that I need to sell
