- Blessed Assurance, JESUS Is Mine - Hymn Tune: ASSURANCE
" I will sing praise unto my GOD while I have any being..." Psalm 146:2
" But thanks be to GOD, who gives us the victory through our LORD JESUS CHRIST..." Corinthians 15:57
This beautiful and well known Hymn has always been a favorite of mine. Twenty Four years today ( the date I am posting this video ), I had the honor to play it at my Mother's Funeral - it was her favorite hymn.
I start the hymn in C Major and for the last verse, elevate to D Major pulling out all the stops.
Thank you for visiting and for subscribing to my Channel for Hymn LOVERS ♥ like YOU !

Lance, so sorry you are dealing with this illness. You are in my prayers, for your recovery. I've followed you for about 5 years, at which there was a need for an organist at my church, St Michaels Roman Catholic in Canton PA. A magnificent hymn played by a Master. I know you are holding Romans 8:28 in your heart..... as I, also, am doing for you.
Thank you Mike and yes Romans 8:28 ( And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose ) is one of my special scriptures. Blessings to you and all my Subscribers and visitors to my channel - Lance † ♫♪♫
Good to hear from you, Lance. Treatment is a lot to go through but I've often wondered about you. May God continue to bless you and keep you in His care. Charlie, Aberdeen, Scotland.
Lance thank you for playing this beautiful hymn with such compassion and tenderness. This playing sounded like music coming right out of the portals of heaven itself and it really blessed me as I listened to it.
How are you feeling these days and how are your treatments progressing. I have been praying for you several times each day during this time and wondering how you were progressing along.
I hope and pray that the very near future brings The Lords sweetest richest blessings in your walk with The Lord, your physical health, and everything else in your life.
MANY BLESSINGS TO YOU FROM OUR DEAR LORD.
THE LORD HAS MADE YOU A SUPER BLESSING TO THE ENTIRE BODY OF CHRIST !!!
Thank you for your prayers - I am doing as good as can be expected... GOD will take care of me and whatever HE has planned - I will accept... Lance †

We trust in our Lord.
This is one of those hymns that I am starting to learn to play on the piano. I mostly listened to your older version of playing(dating 4 years ago, I think), although this one is amazing too. God bless and have a great day!
This was our closing Hymn in our Aberdeen Kirk on Sunday, Lance. On Tuesday, Presbytery announced all Churches will be closed to Public Worship. Pretty much the same all over. Frightening situation with this Coronavirus, Lance. How are you keeping yourself? Hope you are safe and well. God bless you always. Charlie, Aberdeen, Scotland
Hi Lance . New here to the Channel, you are the best organ player I’ve heard in a long time. Btw the hymn choices are excellent. From a fellow Buffalonian May God bless you
Thank you and keep warm up there... Lance † ♫♪♫
