- Jamia Millia Islamia’s MPhil Scholar, Safoora Zargar has alleged that University is cancelling her admission by not extending her time for submission. Following an evaluation of a student's work, the UGC in May 2022 ruled that Universities and other higher education Institutions may grant additional extensions for up to six months beyond the deadline of June 30 for the submission of MPhil or PhD thesis. It was the fifth COVID extension given to academics. But Safoora alleged that Jamia Millia Islamia is refusing an additional extension to submit my thesis. Why every one needs extension? Typically MPhil takes about 18 to 24 months. PhD about 4 to 5 years. She should get extension if she is doing PhD. But if she is doing MPhil then big question? Why so much time for MPhil? Good student can finish easily in about 18 months.
She has already got three extensions..like seriously..typical ..using all victim cards

What was her objection with CAA? Did she want to say that Muslims in Islamic countries of Pakistan, Bangladesh and Afghanistan were persecuted for being Muslims?
