Just a compliment from a South African bead spinner, you have beautiful hands! Also, i think try and spin the opposite direction, reason being that, as you might have experienced, the needle might angle up or down, resulting in the force put on it to just "jump" out and throwing all the threaded beads all over.

I have a little recommendation
Since every bracelet you make is about the size of the hook,
instead of having to pull it down every time it has a bit of beads, instead fill the entire hook!
the hook is about the size you measure so itll be quicker!

I cannot find a strong enough bead hook for the clay beads. The thin ones flip around and only pick up one or two beads! Been to Michael's and hoppy lobby. Help!?
