To, it's a toss up as to whether a sport Fisher or center console.If I plan on being out 2 days or more then the sport Fisher is what I would choose. If I plan on doing runs to the Bahamas and do fishing via island hopping, I would choose the center console.

Not to boast but I have both. The spt. fish would be much favored if I had to pick one.
Diesels also last much longer than outboards. Sport fish is definitely a better choice for me.
Use less full longer range
Been going out for many years, caught in some snotty conditions! Once in CC, not a 65' but never again was soaked the whole time. Sport fish any day
If I was rolling in money I would probably buy a 80 ft weaver sportfish, and a center console. But I'm not so I like my little cc. Great 👍 video 📹

Really depends obviously if you a fisherman and money isn’t a problem than the sport fish but if you’re just trying to enjoy the water with (because no one needs that boat for themselves) others than the CC would be better

All they need to do is put a high rail with rod holders from just ahead of the cockpit all the way up to the bow to allow safe traversing up n down the sides for chasing a fish on a sport fisher n its no contest
I perfer sport boat/yachts better than console reason is that if a big wave crash down in front of the bow and it take on water your boat going to sink. Sport boat have a chance to wash away the water from the bow.
If you can afford either… then I say get one of each👍

Money is no issue
100% Center Console I cant imagine myself wanting to go out either alone or with a single friend and having to park that behemoth of a sport fisher. I would also like access to move around my boat incase a fish decides to run the other way, sure you can move forward on a sport fisher but that takes a captain to be on the helm the whole time. If you use the argument "Theres more cabin area on a sport" then you could of either stayed home and done the same thing or you cant enjoy it because your too busy fishing.
I'm working at it as we speak definitely, a (sport fisherman) cause I enjoy shick things, being able to bathe , cook , not get wett soaked , as well etc,etc

Open bow boats aren't truly seaworthy. Even the most experienced capt can accidentally take a wave over the bow in erratic sea conditions. Center consoles are great for day boating in fair conditions. A rough day in South Florida is a fairly mild one almost anywhere else along the US coast.

You can buy a sportfishing boat for less than 5 mill dollers.Hell you can even buy a custom sportfishing boat with 5 mill dollers or less.Just saying hope i don't rub the cc boat fan the wrong way.

also "WHAT GOOD IS A 70 MPH BOAT IN BIG SEAS"?!! 70mph is great in flat seas but throw in some 5 ft waves
