Anyone else sad the way MTGA changed watermark cards on the Ravnica arena? For those who don't know, it used to be whenever you would play a guild watermarked card on the Ravnica field, the music would shift to that of the guild that the card belonged to. For example, playing Blood Crypt or Spawn of Mayhem would trigger this song. The music would last until the next out-of-guild card was played. Now it only lasts 15 seconds before it shifts back...
I’m just bummed how poorly the story within mtg has declined. For me war of the spark was peak for mtg. But then hasbro started pushing Wotc harder and harder.
@@dragothromak6261 War of the Spark was very good except for the novels. But personally, I think the worst story we got was March of the Machines. It started off good, but it ended terribly. Killed all the Praetors, desparked half the walker roster, and made the other half functionally useless.
I really love the slow burn, that climax and sad lowering of the tension. Feels really flavor with the guild, Arena really went out there with the soundtrack.
The drama of the circus, the drama of life, and when the curtain falls... It's death and good bye. That's what I think is inscribed in this song. Love it for rakdos.
you should check out Hans Zimmer's soundtrack to the first Sherlock Holmes movie, it's filled with songs that have the same aesthetic (and is also rly good)
Yeah but that would not really suit the relaxed gameplay of MTG, imagine playing a game with rave music going off in the backround, it would be distracting at best and anti climactic at worse...
I expected Rakdos to be more of a psychotic frenzy, but this somehow fits them nonetheless.

3:26 and forward really captures the feel of Rakdos in my opinion
I love the french circus vibes! It fits the Rakdos guild perfectly.
Thats the reason why I love this Track to.... and this says a Simic Guild Member :P
Same here, but coming from the Izzet League. ;)
"What a show! We're going to make a killing tonight"
Juri, Master of the Revue
this is best background sound when you cast spawn of mayhem with only 3 mana

the best theme
The best. Rakdos for life.
the music for the Cult of Rakdos has no business being this beautiful
not that i'm complaining, though
Awesome tune. Does anyone know of any music that has a similar atmosphere to this?
Myuu maybe?
Es posthumus, x ray dog?

I'm late to the party, but Darkest Dungeon's OST in the Butcher's Circus DLC has similar vibes
I was hoping for something less serene and more chaotic.

This is chaotic... Not a rave but the way it's sound.. the background all of this is a lot chaotic but it's works (sorry for bad english)
In the chaos of a genuine performance one finds serenity, oh to hear the jubilation of a crowd- and then their terror.
