I am a retired Law Enforcement Officer as of 2010, now working protective operations in corporate security so I now wear a white shirt with a suit and tie to work, with my tools of the trade now concealed. Two years ago, my wife and son bought me some dress ties for Christmas that came with pocket squares. I have enjoyed your channel and learning how to fold sharp looking pocket squares, thank you. I have received many compliments on my pocket squares thanks to you... I started to feel naked when I wore an older tie that didn't have a square so I went out and bought 10 additional squares that complimented my old ties. I now have over 40 squares... So what is the point of a pocket square anyway? Every suit I have ever rented has come with one, and I can't find a single practical use for them. Now, they are probably just an asthetic piece, but what were they originally meant for? Just a handkerchief?
Zachary Nixon There is history with the pocket square has evolved from the handkerchief where it has a much broader array of uses from blowing your nose into it, to using it as a bandage. It did become part of the social elite and royalty where they wouldn't wear the plain non-coloured cloth in their pockets and don expensive materials and colours not available to the common folk. Where as to today it is mainly fashion accessory to dress up for an occasion or class up your daily wear.

***** Sorry, I don't get them all in one place. Some are silk, some are blends with polyester, and some are even cotton plus they are not all the same size which drives me a little nuts, but hey I work with I have.

If you mean one pocket square, no. That’s similat the three peaks fold (if you only use one)
