In my opinion that's a battleship formation because firing guns at the same time is as deadly as a battleship, also Garupan is the best anime I watched.

The Yamato had 12 127mm guns on each side (so 24 Maus tanks) and the main cannons(9 of them) had shells as heavy as the shells from the 600mm Karl-Gerät from der Film. Also 6 155mm guns. And the other battleships weren’t that far behind, especially in terms of secondary guns.
