Bronski Beat's "Smalltown Boy" is more than just a synthpop anthem - it's a powerful message wrapped in catchy, infectious melodies. That's why we had to do our own cover. Just a little more than a month ago, Bronski Beat celebrated the 40th anniversary of the song. For the synth heads among us; There is no other song that makes a LinnDrum snare smash harder in the mix. Figuring out the song showed us what the impact of a gated reverb on a snare drum can do.
