I just started snowboarding again after a 15 years hiatus. Great videos for the return. Thanks man!!
Tommie easily has the best snowboarding video lessons anywhere…. Breaks down the information so clear and simple to understand ….If I ever make it to your area I’m definitely signing up the entire family for lessons with Tommie….
Nice video. You maybe should talk a bit about bindings angles because it's definitely a game changer when carving. More positive angles just physically improve your carves.
Look at that energy! Tommie you're producing amazing videos and these help beyond words. Thank you, hope to see you this summer in training camp.
Such good videos. Fast, simple, easy to understand. Love to see it
Love your videos dude, you're making amazing, sick and very useful content, keep it up!
I can specifically attest to how accurate tip 4 is for what Tommy is doing, as I was just practicing that on my own runs today. So if there are any learners here in the comments, yes, when you're doing your quick-turn carves like that, you want to be keeping your upper body stacked, not moving your torso much, and you want to let your legs do all the work.
Thanks for all these tutorial videos Tommie! You're the best!
much love.😊
very good !! I was just waiting for some additional tips for that lovely🙂 carves that allow us to have our hand on the snow
Love the way you explain what to do 🤟👍
Great tutorial mate thanks for sharing those carving tips. I hope I'm a better carver on my next snowboarding trip :)
Thanks for the video Tommy!
Every video you make is just a gold mine of really useful tips, thank you so much! Ordered my goggles yesterday :)
I really appreciate the support and stoked you like the nerd :)
@@tommiebennettHah hah, I'm a game developer (programmer) so I live and breath nerd :D
Great video. I will try this
Thank you, love your video.✌
Perfect video!!! TY!
Thanks for the great video man, as always. Plz upload intermediate to expert video soon 🙏
Hey, Tommie👊🏂❄🤸 --- Luvin' the vids / natural teacher you are... Quick question: Do you have any vids that are not teaching, but, simply you just bombing The White Room? I'd love to watch you on a full (entire) run simply doing your thing... from side-hits to switch to hard carving / euro-carving even --- Just a full uninterrupted run... start to finish. It would be interesting seeing the lines you choose / paths you take / features you find / tricks you throw... put a phat beat behind it --- and just enjoy you and your style for a full aggressive run👍 You're A damn good teacher, but it would be bomb to see you just full-out / all your glory / doin' you. ---- Mad props👊 Thanks for all the tutorials
Doing nothing but that last drill all up and down the mountain this weekend. Let’s see how good I am by Monday.
Look up tommies toe to toes drill too🤙🏼
@@rmtomasin yessir. I actually do that one a lot. I tried this one recently though and landing and not initially skidding heelside is really hard for me.. But after a day of nothing of this I think I’ll be either dead of exhaustion or straight up pro lmao. Love these types of drills
Where are you riding? These are mellow slopes and there’s no way to get this consistency in the alps as there’s always lots of steep sections
Former skier spent the first week of December at Crested Butte. Hitting Keystone 18-23 Feb. 60 year old hangin tough. Constructive criticism on the slope appreciated!
Hi Tommie, Im a beginner snowboarder. I can do s turns and carves and some small jumps but i always feel a lack of control on speed if i don't skit a little bit. I'd be riding down the same hill with the kids but I always ends up over taking them if I don't hit the brakes a few times. Do you have any tip or ideas on why that is?
Question about Tip 4. I am working on linking turns and not skidding but how do you go slow and not pick up too much speed?
5:10 "I'm not waving my arms around"... *waves hugs arms around heavily *
Love the content. When are the tech hoodies finding their way back into the shop???
Hoping around 6 week :)
Мне очень сильно нравится твой стиль, у тебя классные видео 🎥📹, отличная подача информации, и крутой контент 👍👍👍Было бы круто у тебя поучиться в твоей школе..
Love your videos…wanted to see if I could get some tips. I’m still new to the sport but was really picking it up, was hitting blues during my 2nd snowboarding trip. I did catch edge and flew forward and landed on my head/neck. I got a ct scan, luckily no serious issues outside of maybe a minor sprain. If you catch edge and fly forward on your side is there a technique to quickly try and protect your head? Obviously I had a helmet on. Also..how do you balance being safe while also pushing yourself a bit to get better? I imagine falling and even some injuries are just part of the game, but trying to also balance safety with testing my limits a bit. Without question ill be back on the slopes
Don’t be excessively confident with your skills when you’re just getting started. Getting a life altering injury is not worth it.
Practice more on easier terrain before approaching the harder ones.
If you got a sprain from a fall, either the snow is really hard or your just going way too fast
@@boom2055 yeah I realize I was probably going too fast. I regret it. This was a wake up call but I’m hoping it doesn’t completely deter me from enjoying this sport
Do your googles fit low nose bridges? I have the anon m4 and it always fogs up through the gap
Hello Tommie. Can you please help me? I choose a snowboard and decided on two options Capita DOA and Borealis Tundra. @@tommiebennett I just stated watching your videos the past few weeks. Im a little jealous because right now in the PNW we are having such little snow right now....most of our lifts are closed and not worth taking my new warpig on the mountain
