Art Hobby Odyssey 2.7 Meter Motor Glider Flight

Go Pro Hat cam footage of my Art Hobby Odyssey 2.7 Meter Motor Glider after repairing the outrunner motor. A Nice flight with a not so nice cartwheel landing-Need to program in more elevator compensation. Flight was at Cross Farm Park, Holmdel, NJ

Beautiful area, I enjoyed this vid. Reminds me of my e-glider 117'' I used to fly back when NC-cells were still a thing. Spent hours in thermal air sitting in a camping chair and loving it. The recorded max height was 2920 ft, you really had squint your eyes to follow it.
Maybe you know and I was misinterpreting the scenery here, just in case. When you circle to climp in lifting air don't do it directly over your head. The position of your model can be confusing and a knee jerk pull on the stick can easily overstress the airframe, been there done it!

Thanks for watching and commenting, I’m really just starting out trying to “thermal”, I’m getting the Art Hobby Odyssey fined tuned/dialed in! The field where we fly is adjacent to a sod farm, and the land owner enjoys when folks fly there! I’ll post some onboard footage soon from a similar flight…
