Its so true Your Memory not only gets around its ALWAYS around... could not get up this morning to face another day then I just thought of You for about an hour or two and then I got up and soon was on my way. I thought of how I needed you and Darling THAT is true could not lay there waxing when I could be up and around thinking bout the One I need that comes in THE LIKES OF YOU so hope sprang into gear and just could not mope around STILL Making Believe that SOMEDAY SOON I'd be walking close to you SO I just have to say Your Memory sure DOES get around.. and THAT SOMEDAY SOON I would be TOGETHER AGAIN and this time NOT SINGING OUT OF TUNE whether now or in the month of JUNE whenever again it comes around on a guitar tune looking forward to June and those Roses that bloom even in a December Room tossing Roses around from December until JUNE when it finally gets here. Yes for SURE your memory not only gets around but ALWAYS hangs around from June to JUNE... and Someday Soon....it won't just be a memory tune...and could it be Real SOON.
MY BROTHER TIM BOWERS HAD A GREAT CAREER IN COUNTRY MUSIC. He played bass Guitar backing vocals for Billy Crash Craddock and was an original member of Garth Brooks Stillwater Band. He was also Garth's tour manager until 1992. I remember when he was 17 he listened to the bass lines in Ruby Don't Take your Love To Town. He practiced and practiced playing the album over and over again. After about a week and a half he learned that bass part.He Played it in his local band that Saturday night. He got better and better and became a local first call bass player. In 1978 he got his break with Crash. And in1988 met Garth Brooks. He later became tour manager for Aaron Tippin, Ricky Van Shelton, Kenny Chesney, and BJThomas until BJ's passing in2021.
Very nice ! Thanks for this LP. I like Mel's musicians (he work fine in the spirit of "true Country Music". Best wishes from France. Jo (back-up musician -lead guitar- from 1961 to 2017)
