I've practically spent my entire life here, well, besides being born in Sweden. But hey, Luzon Northern Philippines is my true home sweet home. Now here's the real deal-I've been binge-watching your videos like there's no tomorrow. Your content is so addictive! I've also got my own mini garden going on here, filled with fancy caudex plants. And guess what? I recently planted some fiery peppers to see how they'll survive in this Philippine heat. Exciting, right?

Really great documentary! Thank you for that! Unfortunately there is not much good content on caudiciforms out there. It's still a niche hobby.
On the other hand it's also a good thing because caudex plants grow slowly and most can only be propagated by seeds so there would probably be a lot more poaching, if they were more popular.

Hello i decided for combo: Phyllanthus mirabilis and Stephania Kaweesakii. Is IT possible to care about them in same conditions? Humidity +70% temp. +/-23 degrees celsius? What kind of light is used on the video? Thx a lot.

The thing I want to know- these plants seem super old. Are they seed grown or poached from the wild? Most of this growth seems typical of wild specimens, and I’m very wary of poaching of caudiciform plants
Sadly, most of the plants shown in the video are decades old and poached from the wild. The Asian market is decimating wild populations of plants and they just don't care about it at all. Only buy seeds (from a reputable source) and you're guaranteed to have an ethical Pachypodium in no time!
Operculicarya sp and Pachypodium sp especially P. rosulatum are being decimated by poaching, if it continues, they will become extinct in the wild.
