Can’t stop coming back to this heat. Stu was absolutely on fire throughout this event, and probably deserved to win it. Would like to see more variety like this coming from the pros on tour.
First time I saw Stuart Kennedy. That guy got some skillzz. He was killing it, but let us keep in mind he was on his frontside while Media on his backside with a super quick little running wave and a lot of mushy sections. Those are hard to surf on your backhand for sure. Media is still number one on the planet.

+Tom Kasas Agreed. Medina was completely over scored on this. His 8 was from a wave with 8 turns that were all completely the same. So boring to watch. Kinda exposes him for his week backside. Then stu bust out 3 different moves each wave and is barely scored higher....

Stuart Kennedys 8.5 should have atleast been a 9 +. Unbelievable skill and talent. A more highly marketed surfer like Mick or Italo would have gotten a higher score for that.
The Medina camp should really cheer up, every time you see them they look miserable or angry. Seriously Charlie and co..lighten da funk up!
