- Suryanelli is a scenic destination in Kerala about 20 km ahead of Munnar. I visited in the Monsoon months, but honestly, this place is amazing year-round with amazing weather. The best part is that in other months, you'll get a glorious view of Kolukkumalai peak and the view of the rising sun. I was staying at the Tentgram hostel here and they helped me organize a special meal for kids at Suryanelli school. That part was especially the closest to my heart. I just returned from this beautiful place 2 days back. It has been one of the best travel experiences in my walk of life and by the way, @Tanya, Leo the puppy has grown so big now almost 10 months from then according to what our friends from Tentgram told us and is doing really well greeting each and every visitor at Tentgram, these video has given me the nostalgic experiences once again, I highly recommend people to visit this beautiful place.

During monsoon, it's more green and clouds over the valley and just beside the road are breathtaking. I've visited Munnar and Vagamon during monsoon and as well as other seasons. During monsoon it's another emotion. But also be aware that the region is prone to landslides.
Pro tip: Bike ride feels amazing in such weather.
Kerala nd it's natural landscapes re really amazing.
Also the Biryani events for the kids is wonderful nd generous 👍😊🌿.

Depends on area, since its close to TN, being woman and for this job wage is low. Most people earn around 700/day
They will be compensated based on the extra weight of tea leaves in addition to the minimum weight and they all are paid wages recommended by the Tea Association.

Beautiful vlog❤ Monsoon in Munnar is amazing. Most of the touristy places have less crowd and it’s a whole different vibe. We climbed atop mountains and waited for the wind to blow all the fog away to catch the spectacular views. It’s next to impossible to see a sunrise there during the monsoons though, but it’s a fair trade in my opinion.😁

hey tanya, I've rewatched your entire kerala series for like 5 times (not 'just' this one, I rewatch all of your travel series. I'm a big fan of your work ). I loved it soo much. Infact, I fell in love with kerala because of you! I haven't even been to that place yet. I just put on your videos on my laptop, grab a snack and imagine myself being there in that place for real lol (trust me, I'm not even exaggerating) and it might not be exactly same as actually experiencing the whole thing but it has always been so much fun.
