Iv been a nail tech since 2005 and let me tell u there's a lot of brands out there but there's a lot that are very chalky and very hard to wrk wth. The brands that wrk for me and ik vee uses them to she will tell u there amazing smooth and buttery. The good brands are.....
Young nails, notpolish, Vanessa's nails, nail House, Kiara sky,valentino I think I got all my favorites..... There's more good brands out there oh another one is creamery there really good and there cheap I started using creamery and nail house bc of porche one of my favorite u tubers use them and she swears by them... Anyways I hope that's helpful?

Creative nail design (CND) is my absolute favorite, it’s very self leveling I also use the monomer liquid from them. Little pricey though but it’s great product been around a long time.

I wouldn’t recommend beachside yes like you mentioned it would take away from the effect. But you can if you don’t mind getting rid of the details

Hey vee, what matte top coat do you recommend that "DIYer's" like my self, can purchase WITHOUT a license? I use beetles and it only lasts about 2-3 days tops😮💨
All the brands I use don’t require a license to purchase! Would still recommend matte it from not polish

Definitely what’s recommended for best use but realistically I can’t have all the powders from only one brand so I mix all the time & haven’t had any issues ☺️
