0:37 I'm impressed how many people don't know the difference between e-Bikes (electrically assisted pedalling) and these small electric motorcycle which can ride on roads, not on bike lanes and need to have a license plate as they are compared to moped by law in California. Driver was right but if he was really concerned about safety he should have called it into the police. He knows it's harmless and just wanted to try to assert some authority over people to make himself feel bigger.

@@keylimepiepower58 No. In California (where this video is from) bicycles MUST obey all regular traffic laws while using public streets and roads. Bikes, and Ebikes, can only travel in the traffic lane IF there is not a separate bike lane, and only IF the traffic lane is marked for bike use. Otherwise, bicycles and Ebikes must ride as far to the right as possible. Caveat: if the traffic lane is marked for bicycle use, the bicycle MUST reach or maintain the posted speed limit. At no time can the bicycle hinder vehicle traffic flow.
That being said, the truck could have been cited for reckless driving, illegal passing, and speeding.

Much too cheap. Here in Germany you are a pedestrian for at least 1 month (out of town) or 2 (in town) and you pay 320-480 Euro (out) or 400-560 Euro (in) depending on what tolerance they impute.

E Bikes need the same regulation theyre motorized vehicles
They do depending on the power of the motor. Basically, if it can't do more than 20 mph it follows the same regulations as a pedal bike. If it can, it's a motor vehicle which means it must be street legal, registered, insured, and the rider needs a license. The guy showed it doing 35 mph.

8:45 - Mr Redline - Your friend is not exactly the sharpest knife in the drawer. Air / gasoline mixture is compressible. Water not so much.
I am not sure why they tipped it over. Just pull the plug and crank it. Get as much water out as you can then just put the plug back in and it'll probably run fine after a little bit

The guys on electric bikes, which I'm sure are not insured/street legal, need to learn to stfu and keep going.
Bicycles and E-bikes need to keep to the right and keep out of the way of traffic.

The problem is the speed of those things and the regulation. (Or lack thereof) most governments are not up to speed. In most European countries, e-bikes with speeds upto 50km/h must have a plate and the insurance. Speeds Upto 30 are seen as normal bicycles.
