Meat Filling
- 50ml vegetable oil
- 1 medium onion
- 4 garlic cloves
- 3 scotch bonnets
- 2 potatoes
- 2 carrots
- 1 tablespoon curry
- 1 tablespoon vegetable or chicken seasoning
- 1 tablespoon ginger powder
- 1 tablespoon salt
- 1 tablespoon Italian seasoning
- 1 teaspoon pepper
- 750g minced beef
- 2 tablespoons of flour + 90ml of water to make a slurry
Dough
- 600g all purpose flour
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp sugar
- 1/2 tsp nutmeg
- I forgot to add 1/2 tsp baking powder and guess what? It still came out really nice
- 260g cold butter
- 150ml cold water
- Egg wash : Just whisked eggs
Bake for 30mins at 150°C
This recipe make 12 Meatpies
