Just for the knowledge of everyone out here did you ever wonder why these companies give 10 to 20 years warranty on the motors ? Here is why
1. The client can not avail private technical services to repair the machine
2. These motors hardly fail
3. Once you avail third party service other than the company you got it from then the warranty is void
4. The company earns on out of warranty repairs of the machine apart from the motor so this is a huge after sales revenue for the company .

Having said that I also wanted to let you know that you haven't provided complete information on the Softner. You have not clarified that it will not work on top load Samsung WM to install on the tap. I purchased this Softner from Amazon for Rs 999 but could not install it to the tap as the threading on both sides are not compatible.

Hi Vineet I have been following your videos for a while now. Was looking for a washing machine and came across your video. I have a few basic queries would be nice if you can answer the same. On what basis have you ranked these washing machines as the top 5 machines you have ranked only Samsung model which is a 2021 model is wifi model while LG and IFB you chose non wifi models bosch doesnt have wifi. If it was a like to like comparison should IFB LG wifi machines have not been taken into consideration. Or was this video made with any specific budget in mind coz I dont find any such mention here. Lastly Samsung Model 504DAB is 2 years old so does that mean new machines from samsung or not good? Keep up the good work and reply if you can

Sahab, very much appreciate the very detailed video on a much required video on comparison of washing machines. I myself had brought a Samsung washing machine a couple of years ago and i am currently facing a plethora of electronic issues related to the machine. Just to get a clearer idea on the issues, i went online and found that Samsung machines have a really bad track record related to electronic parts. We buy such machines expecting it to last atleast for 10 years and more complicated and such unnecessary electronics will definitely tend to deteriorate in a couple of years.
Also can you give your take on IFB not having direct drive, is direct drive superior technology ,is steam wash a gimmick that every manufacturer is forced to take upon and what is its load on power consumption.
P.S. i brought hisense tv based on your recommendation and the picture quality is great but the ui is laggy

They had pioneered DD tech and have among the best street cred for durability even though they look the least appealing

But in this video one thing I realized is that your review may be biased with some factors that may not be true for the public. For example, you mentioned that Samsung gives a unparalleled 20 year warranty on motor which is very high and represents the quality and confidence from this brand. My question is - what good is a 20 year warranty on motor if the rest of the parts fail after 5 years? So IMO 4 years comprehensive warranty from IFB means more than 20 years motor warranty from Samsung. WDYT?

Excellent review Vineetji....pls guide me in purchasing a washing machine which is practical, robust and sturdy, less noisy/vibration...and just has only the most required and used washing progs. Also, I do not see any use of wi fi in washing machine but yes...washing quality is of prime importance.

Wi-Fi is amazing in a Washing Machine, I was clothes at odd hours, I used to forget my clothes were on wash since cycle used to be atleast an hour and once I forgot I at times let wet clothes sit in there for upto 6-8 hours. Now my machine notifies me that the clothes have been washed which helps.
Apart from that I usually put clothes directly in Washing Machine instead of baskets and leave some detergent in its area, then if I think ill need some clothes later tomorrow I set the machine to start working via wifi at like 7 in the morning, its ready to be hung to dry by 8 PM when I wake up. So Kinda helps, I dont have to wake up and start my machine. And app notification helps let me remind I had clothes on wash.
Plus other features, wifi really helps some people.

I know there is no dryer in this machine, but will i get clothes with dripping water or at least it would dry little bit so that i can dry those clothes inside the house itself in monsoon. Vineet, i think one more thing that matters a lot from a consumer's perspective is after sales support from the companies. Let me tell you my experience with samsung has been very bad. I think after sales customer support must be included in your reviews and must hold high weightage while ranking the products

Ifb sale support is excellent. Only because of sales support I bought an ifb (MXC 9014 just for reference) washing machine again. They also give an extended warranty plan after 4 years of warranty which is best.
The technician will come the next day after registration of complaint.
