How to change KNIVES and check ANVIL clearance on BANDIT Intimidator Wood Chipper.
If you need to change knives on a drum-type wood chipper this video might get handy. I am going to show you how to replace blades, torque knives properly, and check anvil clearance.
Safety always should be the first priority:
- Chipper knives are sharp and can be dangerous. Always be extra careful and wear proper hand protection when handling knives.
- Before changing knives make sure all shutdown procedures are followed.
- Before attempting any type of maintenance, disengage the clutch, wait for the drum to come to a complete stop, turn the engine off, remove the ignition key and put them in your pocket, install the drum lock pin, disconnect the battery.
