Deston is easily my favorite map. It has the most variations in environment: Fields, Desert, Marsh, Swamp, Woods, Cliffs, Suburbs, City, Open Highway. It also has the largest amount of verticality of all the maps, and that includes the areas outside of the cities. It also has the best vehicle in the game: the police car. Oh yeah, and it has the re-deployment towers which are taken straight out of Apex and let you launch yourself up into the air and parachute somewhere else nearby.
I personally think if the game launched like it is now versus how it did back then, it wouldve done probably at bare min a quarter better. I prayed for 45 fps back then and now have 144min at all times for the most massive part. But i think a huge aspect thats forgotten is how absolutely trash loot was back then with clothes being dropped as well. I remember a few games where i couldnt find a gun for the first 8-12 mins if we dropped somewhere not extremely populated. That with a multitude of new maps, new vehicles and new weapons without diluting the ammo pool, sure the game is still rough but god damn has it improved since launch and theres no denying that at all lol.
The way bob and vsnz flushed Just9, the way my man shroud protector saved by knocking vsnz💯😍❤️🔥, also the way he's saving u from other enemies, what a good days to be alive💯❤️🔥. I never thought i could see such things again after shroud stopped playing this game 🫡

1080 ti was the top GPU when pubg came out, 4090 RTX is 375-400% faster. Even if there was zero optimization updates, you could switch from 1080p to 4k and get the same frames. Anyone know what Shroud is on? 1440p 240Hz is my guess. We’re def in the era of 4k 144Hz imo.

Dude hasn’t played PUBG enough in the last three+ years to have many valid opinions. He’s also awash in copium in an attempt to hide his lack of skill in this game. Reflexive mechanical skill is a far less important component of being good at PUBG because the game has infinitely more depth. Frankly I can’t believe too many people can stomach watching this guy. Occasionally I’ll peak in to see what bilge he’s pumping about the game to obscure his deficiencies. Sadly gamers often make terrible people famous.
