No More Heroes was broadcasted december 3rd 1977, whilst Grip was shown on tv at the 11th of march 1978.

What a band! Amazing!! “Grip” is one of my favourite songs ever! I saw The Stranglers at Strathclyde Uni in 1977 and they were brilliant. When the end-of-year student Union book came, they were voted the WORST band ever to have played at Strathclyde University students Union!
That proves that most students haven’t the first clue about good music!
Ah Strathclyde Uni with the most obnoxious, elitist, non-inclusive farty little tossers I've ever had the misfortune to deal with. Hated when bands came to Glasgow & played that sh!thole. "Where's your Uni card? Don't care if you have a valid ticket you can't get in if you're not a student, okay yah". Worst was the first time 999 played in Glasgow, couple of hundred angry punks MADE them open their precious doors.
